LENT – between the Waal bridge and the railway bridge runs this bridge from the quay on the North Bank of the secondary channel to the island Veur Lent. This ' Promenade'-bridge is the main access to the island, intended for both hikers, cyclists as car traffic. In the design of Ney-Palmer, the axis of the bridge lie in the direction of St. Stevens Church. The middle part of the bridge is intended for automobile traffic and is higher, the lateral strips are intended for cyclists and walkers and are on dike height.
