"I'm leaving in the morning. First I'm going to Elisa, the mercenary. She knows Kiryn well and I'm sure she can give me a lot of advice."
Cara nodded. "It's hard for me to be without you, Mina, but I know no one can stop you. I'll take good care of the parents and the business while you're away."
I knew I could rely on Cara. She was the same age as I was (even a month younger), but seemed much more mature. Physically she was much more advanced than me, I still looked younger.
She was able to convince people with her appearance and business sense. If people wanted to buy something, it was from her and not from me, the "child". Cara was reliable and would keep her promise.
Finally. The first part of this epic tale of heroism and fate will begin. Special thanks to Brickimedia users 1999bug and BrickfilmNut for making this happen.
I suggest you view this in large.

My name is Tamina but when I was a little girl everybody called me Mina.
My parents have a tailor shop. They both make the clothes and my mother offers them in our shop. My father often wanders from village to village, from farm to farm to sell them.
I grew up with a sister. Kiryn is six years older than me and has always been my idol. I can still remember that in her childhood she was always dressed in warrior clothes and carried a wooden sword with her. She always wanted to be a great warrior and finally (a few years before I was born) our mother had sewn those clothes for her. In our town Kiryn was called “warrior princess” which made her very proud.
I wanted to be like her. When I asked Mother if she would make warrior clothes for me, she just laughed, "One crazy daughter is enough!"
On a nice spring afternoon I came home and saw we had a visitor. A young woman with blonde hair who looked familiar. She looked at me and smiled.
"Mina, little sister! By the gods, you've grown! Do you remember me?" It was Kiryn!
"Of course. I missed you so much, Kiryn! I was going to look for you, but our parents did not allow it." I laughed and cried at the same time.
Kiryn pointed at a young girl my age. She was black-haired and wore a torn dress. "Look, I brought you a new sister."
A new sister? What a nonsense! At first we two girls looked at each other with serious faces, then we began to smile. I felt at once that she was indeed a new sister for me. She must have felt the same because suddenly we embraced each other. Hand in hand we left the house.
Cara told me that she was an orphan and that Kiryn had saved her from great need. "I am so glad that you welcome me to your family," she said. I hugged her and gave her a kiss. "You are now a part of our family and my new sister. We'll never give you back!" Cara started crying with joy, but I didn't understand why.
We spent the rest of the day with playing and laughing and running until Mother called us for supper.

Imagine one day everything changes from the “typical” routine you run with. Imagine if one day the world you once knew turned into that topic of “what if a zombie apocalypse broke out”. What would you do?!
Jeyun And Miyui met in a bar through a mutual friend just 5 months ago during an emergency meet up. Everyone there was handed their folder which represented when and where they were being deployed. “So soon? Must be something extremely dangerous” Jeyun thought to himself. He looked over at Miyui to see what slip she pulled out and it was red just like his. Jeyun walked over to her while listening to the Major speak on stage, he then whispered to her, “You too, huh?”. Miyui looked up at him and nodded, “I don’t normally get red slipped unless I’m protecting someone, but my slip says ‘squad 001’, do you know what that means?”. Jeyun looked at her in shock then took her slip from her hands reading it carefully. “Well shit, you’re in my squad”, he reached his hand out for a handshake, Miyui shook his hand as he said “Captain Kishimoto, Nice to formally meet you First Lieutenant Furusato”. Jeyun was fixated with her beauty so he begun to flirt. They both ended up spending their last 3 months getting to know eachother before being deployed and damn it was worth it.

The world without sound, smell, and feeling either.
However, the world where only the sight can be perceived.
SI: As we watch movies, our eyes and souls transform into other realities that we can't go back to our world, but only embrace the wonderful utopia of imagination and beauty.
Materials: I used a subject, ledge, skies, and camera.
Idea: This is the start to our main character's journey of conflict via reflecting and figuring out how she may find herself again. Herself against the world.
Process: I asked the model to sit on the bridge ledge and think of something reflective. Then I shot at a low pov so that she meets the directly in front of the blue sky.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: The Dark Mirror

Prologue Story:
The Narudo bandits had had enough of "Lord Ganondorf". The other tribes were stupid anyways, and besides, Narudo was MUCH better at sword and spear fighting than Ganondorf ever had been. He was ruler just because he was male, and Visura, former leader of the Narudo tribe of the scattered Gerudo peoples, had finally sprung the ambush she'd been planning for so long.
They caught him when he was admiring himself. IN A MIRROR. Of course he was. He'd never done a day's hard work of robbery and thieving. EVER. What a lousy Gerudo king. Anyways, Visura and her gang pulled Ganondorg away from his mirror in his sand palace, threw him on the back of a horse and started riding into the desert.
As the Narudo rode through the sandstorms of the Wasteland, the Narudo kept their sandshrouds over their bodies, not caring whether Ganondorf was torn apart. He was evil anyways. His creepy smile had always unnerved Visura, and even So, Visura's witch.
So was waiting for them in the Eye, where the Temple of Bones lay. Here were buried all of the past male Gerudo chiefs, known in other times as the Spirit Temple, or the Arbiter Grounds. Visura didn't care whatever it was called. She had been through it at LEAST ten times and hadn't found anything to steal other than a few crumbling bones. So was so old she had probably known those dead ones, Visura thought. As they shackled Ganondorf in front of the entrance, So came up behind him, bearing a crystal ball. So placed it on the pedestal, and moved out of the way for Visura to get on with the execution.
Now that Visura thought about it, why hadn't Ganondorf said a word since he was captured? Shocked to realize this, she quickly whipped out her sword (one she'd taken from the Castle a few years back), fearing some trick or outburst of magic he had been rumored to have. As she jumped and stabbed down at Ganondorf, Visura could see him sneering, his eyes gleaming yellow, and as his life began to drain from him, and black smoke fled from him into the crystal ball, he began to roar with laughter: "YOU FOOLS! I CANNOT BE KILLED!! I HAVE OVERCOME ALL DEATH! PAIN IS BUT TRIVIAL!!!" Visura grimaced and put all her weight on the sword as the chains began to tighten. "III AMMmm--mmmaaauuuggghhh-- I AM FIIINNAALLIIITTTTYYYYY!!!!!"
Black essence finally stopped pouring out of his limp body into the crystal ball, and as Visura wiped her blade and slid her sword back into her sheath, So grabbed the crystal ball for safekeeping. Annoyed with how Ganondorf's final words had left her rattled, Visura left his body in the chains and rode back into the storms with the Narudo, entertaining herself with plans to steal from the other Gerudo tribes once more.
Little did Visura know, that So had only trapped Ganondorf's essence in another place. His work of building his Dark Mirror had barely been complete when he had foreseen that the Gerudo would betray him. Ganondorf had not cared. With the power he had imbued in the Mirror, he had created a Reflected world, one where whatever magic or evil he intentioned became reality. And if he could only enter his realm himself . . . oh but surely the Gerudo would do that for him. Ganondorf smiled. This was all too easy.
The crystal ball was an ancient pathway for spirits, and Ganondorf had found his path to his Reflected world. However, despite his newfound power, he remained unsatisfied, aching for revenge and a physical body once more. And so, he began to send out his demons and monsters and shadows through the mirrors of the world, tainting the Light Realm with his madness, all while seeking a way to return. As Finality, King of the Phantoms.

This is the prologue part of my roughly 15 Lego MOC project that I have been working on for over 2 years! It has truly been a labor of love, taking **the best game series of all time** and making my own fan-storyline based off of my favorite games (LttP, OoT, TP, SS, and BotW).
For each MOC there is a written story created by me, and a build video on my youtube channel @HartBricks! I know it's a lot, but if you've gotten here to the bottom you truly are amazing and I hope to get your full support on the other builds and videos! I hope you enjoyed the prologue to THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: The Dark Mirror!

One day my parents gave me a lute. "Here, Mina, you will like it. You love to sing, so you'll love to play the lute."
At first I didn't want to, but then Woldo, a bard who always played the lute in the tavern, came and taught me to play and I enjoyed it very much.
As Kiryn grew older, the warrior dress no longer fitted her and she had to wear dresses and skirts like any other girl.
One day I heard Mother arguing with her. "It's time for you to behave like a grown-up person. You should be more concerned with our tailoring business. Besides, it would be good if you married the boy next door. In a few days you'll be 13 which makes you a grown-up person."
"I don't want to, Mother!"
"Nonsense! It's time you did something useful. You live here, so you'll obey our rules."
On her 13th birthday Kiryn said she wanted to go to the market and do some shopping.
She did not come back.
Job 1:1-3 (NLT)
Progue
1 There was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless, a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters. 3 He owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred teams of oxen, and five hundred female donkeys, and he employed many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area.
DRAWING NOTES:
TIME OF DAY:
Unspecified in Bible narrative. I have set this scene in the early to mid morning
LIGHTING NOTES:
The sun is on the right hand side of the picture (out of view), & casts shadows to the left of figures, animals & objects.
CHARACTERS PRESENT:
From left to right: an un-named shepherd (possibly one of Job’s seven sons), Job’s wife, Job, another un-named camel herder (possibly one of Job’s seven sons).
Ovis aries (Sheep), Camelus dromedarius (Dromedary, Arabian camels).
RESEARCH/ADDITIONAL NOTES:
yôwb, ee-yobe' (transliteration); is the translation into English we know as the name “Job”, which apparently means hated or persecuted. What an unfortunate name!
The book of Job can broadly be divided into 3 parts: Job’s Distress (Chapters 1-3), Job’s Defence (Chapters 4-37) & Job’s Deliverance (Chapters 38-42).
The picture I have drawn shows Job, his wife, their palatial house & some of the many animals he owned. The rich clothing Job & his wife wear, along with the splendid house, not to mention all the land & animals is all to illustrate the point made in verse 2 “He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area.”
As with many things relating to the Holy Bible, the exact location of the land of Uz is a little uncertain (see note below: Where was the land of Uz?) Based on my research I will use scenery from Hauran at Deir Eiyub (Job's monastery) near Nawa, which is east of the Sea of Galilee for photo reference purposes. Hauran is dominated by basalt, a dense igneous (lava) rock. Looking at photographs of the region, I note the rough, rocky landscape, with quite sparse vegetation, few trees & general drab, grey/brown appearance. This si reflected in my drawing, in that I have used muted greys & browns for the landscape, & also for Job’s house. Notice the sparse grasses in the landscape scene below. When the rains come, the landscape is much greener. I have drawn a little gardener figure, tending the flower beds, which again is evidence of Job’s wealth: that he could afford to dedicate land to pleasant gardens. Notice that Job’s house also has potted plants on the flat roofs.
A note about the writing structure of the book of Job.
In the short prologue (the first 5 verses of the book) a lot is presented to the reader, especially when you compare the speed of the descriptions found here with the much slower pace of the discussions & arguments that come in the following chapters (the rest of chapter 1-42). In this rapid prologue we get a description of Job’s spiritual character, we are told of his great wealth & large family, quickly followed by the Lord & Satan’s discussions, Satan’s accusations and attacks on Job, Job’s reactions, and the arrival of his friends. By contrast, the pace in the following dialogue (3:1-42:6) is slow. This quick narrative style in the prologue seems to provide a minimum of background information, then focusses the reader’s attention on Job’s agonizing confrontations with his friends and ultimately with the Lord God.
A note about Job’s character.
Job was blameless (“without moral blemish,” or “morally whole”) and upright (“straight” in the sense of not deviating from God’s standards). Also he feared God, that is, he was aware of, revered, and submitted to God’s majesty. And he shunned evil, rejecting the opposite of God’s character. That assessment, repeated by God to Satan (1:8; 2:3), shows that Job’s friends were totally wrong in accusing him of being a willful sinner.

It’s interesting to reflect on the Hebrew preoccupation of assuming sinfulness as a consequence to bad events befalling someone. I suppose that was/is a way of trying to understand why bad things happen to good people. There are many passages in the Bible where people try to assign guilt to a person or group of people, as a means of explaining why bad events have befallen them.
The book of Job helps to understand that “good” people can & do suffer, &, conversely, “bad” people sometimes seem to “get away with it”. That’s just the way life seems to work sometimes.
In any case, Job & his friends were not aware of Satan’s part in Job’s sufferings.
Where was the land of Uz?
Geographic definition
Though its geographic definition may vary, the Hauran generally consists of the following subregions: the Hauran plain, which forms the heart of the region; the mountains of Jabal Hauran (also known as 'Jabal al-Druze' or 'Jabal al-Arab') east of the plain; and the Lajat volcanic field to the north of Jabal Hauran. The region is bound to the north by the Ghouta and Marj plains around Damascus and to the south by the desert steppe of Jordan. Its western boundary is marked by the Ruqqad tributary, which separates it from the Golan Heights (al-Jawlan in Arabic). It is eastwardly bound by the al-Hamad and al-Safa desert steppes.
Topography
A common feature throughout the Hauran is the basaltic topography, though altitude and soil vary between the Hauran's subregions. The Nuqrah, Jaydur and Jabal Hauran consist of arable land derived from decomposed basaltic, volcanic rock.

Though often identified with the land of Edom (southeast of the Dead Sea), the land of Uz was actually distinguished as being a different place in Jeremiah’s time, if not before (Jer. 25:20-21). [1] Uz was then a “daughter” of Edom, that is, a possession or neighbor of Edom (Lam. 4:21). [2] Some scholars suggest that Uz was in Bashan, south of Damascus; others say Uz lay east of Edom, in northern Arabia. The customs, vocabulary, and references to geography and natural history relate to northern Arabia. Whatever Uz’s location, it was near a desert (Job 1:19), it was fertile for agriculture and livestock-raising (1:3, 14; 42:12), and it was probably outside Palestine.

Uz
The home of the patriarch Job (Job 1:1; Jeremiah 25:20, "all the kings of the land of Uz"; Lament. 4:21, "daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz"). The land of Uz was, no doubt, the pasturing-ground inhabited by one of the tribes of that name, if indeed there be more than one tribe intended. The following are the determining data occurring in the Book of Job. The country was subject to raids by Chaldeans and Sabeans (Job 1:15, 17); Job's three friends were a Temanite, a Naamathite and a Shuhite (Job 2:11); Elihu was a Buzite (Job 32:2); and Job himself is called one of the children of the East (K?edhem). The Chaldeans (kasdim, descendants of Chesed, son of Nahor, Genesis 22:22) inhabited Mesopotamia; a branch of the Sabeans also appears to have taken up its abode in Northern Arabia. Teman (Genesis 36:11) is often synonymous with Edom. The meaning of the designation amathite is unknown, but Shuah was a son of Keturah the wife of Abraham (Genesis 25:2), and so connected with Nahor. Shuah is identified with Suhu, mentioned by Tiglath-pileser I as lying one day's journey from Carchemish; and a "land of Uzza" is named by Shalmaneser II as being in the same neighborhood. Buz is a brother of Uz ("Huz," Genesis 22:21) and son of Nahor. Esar-haddon, in an expedition toward the West, passed through Bazu and Hazu, no doubt the same tribes. Abraham sent his children, other than Isaac (so including Shuah), "eastward to the land of K?edhem" (Genesis 25:6). These factors point to the land of Uz as lying somewhere to the Northeast of Palestine. Tradition supports such a site. Josephus says "Uz founded Trachonitis and Damascus" (Ant., I, vi, 4). Arabian tradition places the scene of Job s sufferings in the Hauran at Deir Eiyub (Job's monastery) near Nawa. There is a spring there, which he made to flow by striking the rock with his foot (Koran 38 41), and his tomb. The passage in the Koran is, however, also made to refer to Job's Well.

The land of Uz was the country in which Job lived (Job 1:1). The LXX renders it en chora te ’Ausitidi, and Ptolemy (5.19.2) says that the Aisitai, i.e., the Uzzites, dwelt in the Arabian Desert, W from Babylon, under the Caucabenes and adjacent to the Edomites of Mt. Seir, who at one period occupied Uz, probably as conquerors (Lament. 4:21). The position of the country may further be deduced from the native lands of Job’s friends—Eliphaz, the Temanite, being an Edomite; Elihu, the Buzite, probably a neighbor of the Chaldeans; and Bildad, the Shuhite, being one of the Bene-Kedem. “The land of Uz” is mentioned in only two other passages of Scripture; it is grouped by Jeremiah (Jeremiah 25:20) with Egypt, Philistia, Edom, and Moab, but in Lament. 4:21 he identifies it with a portion of Edom or affirms that some of the Edomites in his day inhabited Uz.

Jeremiah 25:19-23 (NLT)
19 I went to Egypt and spoke to Pharaoh, his officials, his princes, and his people. They, too, drank from that terrible cup, 20 along with all the foreigners living in that land. So did all the kings of the land of Uz and the kings of the Philistine cities of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and what remains of Ashdod. 21 Then I went to the nations of Edom, Moab, and Ammon, 22 and the kings of Tyre and Sidon, and the kings of the regions across the sea.
23 I went to Dedan, Tema, and Buz, and to the people who live in distant places.

Lamentations 4:21 (NLT)
21 Are you rejoicing in the land of Uz, O people of Edom? But you, too, must drink from the cup of the LORD's anger. You, too, will be stripped naked in your drunkenness.
