While at the Classical in the Canefields in Mackay ABC Open and local Artists Donna Maree Robinson, Tracey Johnson and Fiona Vuibeqa project their Memory Paths film on the ABC open Projector cube.
This is a laser projector I built using just a laser pointer, a pillbox, a cooling fan and a microcontroller.. and of course some glue and some tape!

its time to start shooting digital again. Even tho i love shooting slides, its just getting way to expensive.... each medium has its benefits and i ended up going back to digital :) I went ahead and purchased another d700 so more stuff coming up.
I will still shoot film but most of it will be b&w and probably in medium format. as far as my slide film collection, i sold most of it and just left about 20 rolls to shoot backdrops for my projector modeling.

I made this one few years ago using old slide projector optics and some scrap parts I found around. It's able to represent only one slide at a time.
This is an original 35mm portable projector as used by the RAF. KMO Series.
