The North Charleston Athletic Center will comprise three indoor gymnasiums for multi-use, as well as community meeting and event space. The state of the art facility has been designed to host an array of competitive and recreational sports, including basketball, pickleball, wrestling, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, among many others.

Maj. Gen. AFGHANISTAN — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division leaders joined Afghanistan Engineer District-North project managers, construction representatives, resident engineers and other Corps of Engineers staff in Wardak Province to tour Afghanistan National Police Training Center facilities. The center has maintenance shops, dining facilities, barracks, a gymnasium and a self-supporting infrastructure that includes electric generators. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by J.D. 48 and 52 is a pair of 19th century houses with with outbuildings to the rear. Both houses are of three storeys with a single sash window on each floor and the ground floor doors have semi-circular arches. An extension has been built to the right with identical sash windows and an open ground floor to allow vehicle access.
As you can see, the former houses are painted in sky blue paint.

The unit suffered a phase-to-ground fault resulting in a fire that damaged the generator wirings in December 2010. Repair work began Aug. 16, 2012 when contractor employees lifted the 270-ton rotor assembly from the unit by crane and placed it on a nearby pedestal for repair by National Electric Coil from Columbus, Ohio. AFGHANISTAN — Leaders from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division and the Afghanistan Engineer District-North inspect Construction at the Afghanistan National Police Training Center in Wardak Province. Currently, more than 1,000 police recruits are receiving training from coalition forces. Quality training facilities being constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District-North provide recruits with the basic living and learning conditions to successfully build security and stability across the country.
