Taken this morning - Now that daylight savings has ended here, it means that I had to get up at a ridiculous early time of 4:15am so that I could drive the 1hr plus to be at this beach before sunrise!!

So glad that I did - 'cause what a sunrise!!!!!!!

The sky was amazing - fantastic cloud formations and particularly colorful!

well hi guys..... this morning started at 02-20 am and Steve came around at 2-35 and we set off on a road trip NORTH... only to the Northumberland coastline.... im getting fed up with the Peak District messing us about with the weather.... the last few weeks have not delivered at all so I thought sod it....

Steetley Pier it is..... its only 140 miles each way...….

we arrived at 5 AM to a boring cloudless sky.... but my god did that change..... ive been up since 2-20 and my eyes cant focus ….. so this is just a quick edit of one image as a taster..... im off to bed now..... GOODNIGHT!!!!!

This is on the path leading from Mam Tor along the great ridge! It was a fantastic morning ..... mid June and was warm ..... in the car! I put a winter coat on as a precaution..... my god I’m glad I did.... on the top it was blowing a gale and was cold as ice!

I took this with my Progrey 7 stop ND filter on the front and that gave me an exposure of 60 seconds.....

Little problem ... is fitted a new 3LT arca Swiss L Bracket and with it fitted my cable release wouldn’t plug in.....

So I stood there with my finger on the shutter button for 60 seconds....

I think it came out quite sharp ..... don’t you

Another sunrise image taken a few days ago during a sunrise outing at South Bar Beach, NSW; Australia.

This was also my first opportunity to give my new Progrey Reverse Grad ND filter a run (hence the image title!).

I'm pleased with how the RGND performed - looks like a nice balance of exposure here between sky and those great moss covered rocks - hope you agree!!

I was heading back from a fairly unsuccessful trip to a remote part of Banks Peninsula as the sun started to set. Luckily I manged to get a couple of photo's in time before it was too dark. Very happy with the new Progrey ND1000, seems a set above anything else I've tried including the big names.

Managed to capture sunrise this morning with long time friend and fellow flickr photographer Joe Micallef at South Bar Beach, NSW; Australia.

It was also my first outing with my new Progrey 1.2 Reverse Grad ND filter - have to say, that I'm very impressed!!!

Does exactly what it is designed to do and the results are here for all to see - hope you like it!!!

I also used my Lee .9 ProGlass here - both result in a color correct reproduction!

I was finally able to get to the beach again this morning following the recent flooding and weather issues we've had!

I fully expected the rocks at the southern end of Bar Beach to be exposed following the huge seas, and wasn't dissapointed!!

Even more of a bonus awaited in the colors prior to sunrise!!!!!

Some great rocks were exposed following large seas, but a lot of sand has since started to return and so many of them are covered over already!

I had the opportunity to venture out for another sunrise this morning and decided to head to Merewether Beach, NSW; Australia.

A recent visit there last weekend (without camera - shame!!!) allowed me to see that recent big seas had removed a huge quantity of sand from the beach here and left a lot of the rocks considerably exposed!

This however, is not one of the newly exposed areas mentioned - this rockpool sits out towards the breaking surf line and is usually only accessible at low tide and smaller swells.

Jökulsárlón - Iceland

This black sand beach is formed from a volcanic rocks and sand filled with crystal clear icebergs that are washed up from the sea.

Undoubtedly a place of opportunities to do great and wonderful photos, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light gets that special Glamour lighting up all these jewels.

This time the weather did not cooperate in the morning and we had to wait almost until noon (

Icelandic patience ) that the rain ended and when it happened ... we were there for a few more shot's in this wonderful place.
