25 volunteers showed up for a fun evening of appreciation on Feb. 9. Volunteers gave close to 3,000 hours in 2016 and helped with completion of 30 projects and helping in the Seedling Tree Nursery.

Governo Federal realiza nesta quarta-feira, 26 de junho, uma ação de apresentação dos novos modelos de ônibus do Programa Caminho da Escola, no âmbito do Novo Plano de Aceleração do Crescimento (Novo PAC). Com a exposição de 162 veículos, os ônibus estarão disponíveis para visualização da população ao longo do dia na Esplanada dos Ministérios, em frente ao Ministério da Educação (MEC). A solenidade de apresentação dos veículos ocorrerá às 16h (de Brasília), em frente ao Palácio do Planalto.
O evento contará com a presença do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, do ministro Camilo Santana (Educação) e da presidente do Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE), Fernanda Pacobahyba, além de parlamentares, gestores da educação e representantes da sociedade civil.
Na ocasião, serão apresentados os modelos ORE Zero, ORE 1, ORE 2, ORE 3 e ONUREA Piso Alto. Para aquisição desses mais de 160 veículos, foram investidos mais de R$ 73.6 milhões. Os veículos são de última geração e apresentam 29 mudanças, entre elas: poltronas acessíveis, entradas USB para uso dos estudantes, ar-condicionado, Wi-Fi, rastreamento do veículo, entre outros.
