At the core of our teacher training is providing students with real-world experiential learning beginning with tutoring during their first semester freshman year, evolving in subsequent semesters to internships, professional apprenticeships, practica, and student teaching.

Del 11 al 15 de abril, el Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Educativos, CISE, realizó el Programa de Inducción para profesores no titulares de la Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, ESPOL, correspondiente al primer término 2016.
These pictures are from Westover Library's Open Art Studio for teens. The first program was mural painting. We tried out different techniques. The finished projects are on display in the Westover Library Teen Zone.
The USDA Summer Food Service Program is providing daily free breakfast and lunches for all youth 18 and under in Sitka this summer. Partnerships and Alaskans coming together truly help this program happen. This program is operated by Sponsor Kids Kupboard and Administrator Sitka Conservation Society, with generous financial contributions from Sitka Legacy Foundation and the Sitka Tribe of Alaska (STA), and staffing and assistance from Youth Advocates of Sitka, Sitka Tribe of Alaska, and the Sitka School District.

Rio do Sul (SC), 29/06/2023 - O Governador Jorginho Mello participou solenidade do Programa Santa Catarina Levada a Sério + Perto de Você na AMAVI (Associação dos Municípios do Alto Vale do Itajaí) na tarde desta quinta-feira (29) na cidade de Rio do Sul. No evento o governador entregou 13 viaturas descaracterizadas e equipamentos eletrônicos para a Polícia Civil.

Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!
