Our programmers started their afternoon with a game we created using cards to learn about the different things they could code on Scratch Jr. Campers had to figure out the specific order of the cards, and if their card was allowed after the previous function. They then learned about loops and messaging to start creating their own game!

I grabbed my camera and rushed in to school to see the unveiling of the 2011 Aviation High School robot. I was greeted with a team of exhausted students and mentors and a robot that wasn't quite ready. The robot could drive, but it couldn't use it's arm. Everyone was on edge, and the faulty robot had to be somebody's fault. Talking to Thomas DeSilva I learned that they usually "blame the programmer."
