well, not really....
Do any of you remember staying up all night war dialing with one of these? When social networking involved using a modem to connect to BBSes to play games and to chat the night away? There were BBSes with names like The Amgia Vortex, Byte Flight, Atlanta Exchange, Southern Connection and FIDO of the South. I still have a printout of the Atlanta Area BBS List from Sept. 1987. "Don't Modem Without It!". It lists which "sites" were 300, 1200, 2400 and 9600 baud. Not sure exactly why I still have it, but I do.
This is not my original C-64 but one that I purchased from a fellow Flickr friend. I figured I'd use it in a 365 some day.
