Make sure you get my good side.

Jess in profile.

Jess and I were just working with some different lighting setups when we came up with this shot. I think this shot shows the strength of her profile and takes advantage or her red hair.

Today I took a lunch time break over to the studio to shoot with my co-worker Andrew. He was game to be the first in a series I am considering doing of profile portraits. The idea is to do quick, creative shoots in the studio trying to do interesting photos that exhibit the personality of the person I am shooting. We had fun squeezing in a variety of ideas in the lunch break and already had an idea for another fun shoot down the road. That’s what I hope will be one of the benefits of doing these quick shoots regularly.

Along with the portraits, I asked a few questions to let you get to know Andrew.

Check out more about Andrew and the project over on my 365 blog:

-This profile show a slight curve in thec saddle top to tip you forward as you move back.

-It also shows the hollow titanium rails on this version.

-The seatpost is from Nitto (a Crystal Fellow).

-That's a lot less seat post exposed than I'm used to, as I got a larger frame to get a longer top tube.
