This set of photos was taken during the Thames Festival, London on Sep 13th & 14th 2008, specifically at the "River Tango" dancefloor outside the Tate Modern gallery.
Watching the dancers (all members of the public, not professional performers), I was struck firstly by the huge diversity of the dancers, in terms of race, age and style, and subsequently by the range of emotion while they danced. It was very beautiful and I feel priveleged to have been able to record some of this incredible diversity.
