Neelakandan Raman, or Neelu, Xerox India, a veteran of the Indian software industry, started his career from the same company from where I started mine in 1985: International Data Processing (IDP), where we worked on DEC PDP 11/70 with 24 terminals, 1 console, 2 line-printers, 4 card-punching machines, and 2 tape-storage devices. Yet Neelu and I met for the first time in 2009 at Xerox India.
