Before installing the supplied countertop mounting brackets, decide
which method of securing the dishwasher into its enclosure will be
used. Once the mounting brackets are installed on the dishwasher,
removing them is difficult and will damage the mounting brackets and
the dishwasher.
Top Mount is used for countertops made of wood or other materials that
can easily drilled.
Side Mount is used for countertops made of marble, granite, or other
very hard materials that cannot be easily drilled.

One more reason why you have to go through the pain of learning to do it yourself: see how the lag bolts are located. If the microwave falls and severs my hand, I don't really give a shit if the installer's been covered by insurance - it's my hand that is gone.
It absolutely puzzled me WHY would one install just a partial panel between the cabinet and the dishwasher space. Of course, I've decided to fix it and install the rest. And the reason unearthed itself immediately - there were braces on the inner surface of cabinet risers, complete with MDF leftovers. Clearly, the panel was ripped out, clumsily. Given the fact that previous house owner built the cabinets shortly before selling the house and custom fit the old dishwasher, the only time when the panel could've been ripped out was when the new one was being installed. Of course we discovered this only when it fell out...
Vertical lift operations are simple, it's a carousel that moves shelves in order until the shelf you need is at the opening.
Having a beer belly or just being lazy prevents one from leaning down and using eyesight to locate the guide hole for the screw. Since there's an abundance of power tools which don't make much difference between driving a screw into the hole or into the plastic, guess what...
This is one good example why "professional" installation will never be as good as yours (assuming you know what you're doing, of course). Or you will pay your monthly salary for a work well done. The reason is very, very simple: they simply don't have the time necessary to do a good job. Even if they want to, they can't afford it - or they will lose their job because they won't be able to keep up with their quota of N installations per day - give me a break, it takes 24 hours for the glue to cure... Besides, they don't have enough clamps anyway.
Not quite the way Bosch envisioned it in their installation manual, but this will work too.
It is possible to have the mounting brackets taken out and positioned properly, exactly as the installation manual says, but, as Bosch correctly notes in the manual, "removing them is difficult and will damage the mounting brackets and the dishwasher". It remains to be seen whether this will work - most probably it will.
