This is the down sized version of the probe. It is shorter and thinner than the original and also has a smaller blade. This model was never produced with the shackle. Circa 1990 this seems to be more common than the full sized probe. Like it’s bigger sibling it is made of 440C stainless.
The frequency of the linear array probe is 4-12 MHz, which can be applied on ultrasonic examination of superficial organs, vessels, and tissues, etc. Compared with other linear probes, Stork linear probes have a more professional algorithm platform and GPU framework to ensure clear images.
Linear array transducers made by Stork Healthcare are used to scan small parts of the body and shallow structures like the thyroid in your neck. The high frequency linear probe produces a more square or rectangular image.
Linear Probe Uses And Benefits
1
Wireless handheld ultrasound, dedicated Wi-Fi chips.
2
32 /64 channels, 128 elements, real-time imaging without delay (Zero latency)
3
Alternatively to use QR code to scan , quickly connect with the probe in one second
4
Presets improve operation efficiency
What Is Linear Probe Used For?
A linear probe uses high-frequency ultrasound to create high-resolution images of structures near the body surface. This makes the linear sequential array transducer ideal for vascular imaging and certain procedures such as central line placement.
i am attaching the pancake probe to the side of my ludlum model 2 with industrial velcro.

Use Konted wireless handheld ultrasound to quickly and clearly visualize and assess patient central and peripheral veins, high-definition imaging to guide and perform safe vascular access procedures and complete nursing procedures
Functions of Wireless Ultrasound Probe Used in Vascular
Handheld ultrasound plays an important role in Vascular:
Central venous assessment and puncture, arterial assessment,
varicose vein treatment,
stroke screening (vascular ultrasound),
peripheral venous assessment and puncture,
peripheral arterial puncture,
prosthesis placement,
and carotid atherosclerosis.

yes- really, i'm convinced they are tiny probes sent to invade the body and trigger every allergic reaction known to mankind ;)
