For those wondering what the heck is the object on the background that looks like rocket or something? Is a ( parachute) wind parachute surfing!

At low tide, mudflats used to remind me of the moon's craters. We'd probably need heavy boots to lurch about on the moon, while on mudflats, it's the reverse. We'd sink in the squelching bits, without the special foot gear cocklers and bait collectors wear.

A gorgeous male Brimstone probing for nectar on wild Sweet Pea blooms.

Launching it's seeker drones.

Decided to remake my probe droid

What do you think?

A painted stork (mycteria leucocephala) sweeping its beak from side to side, hoping to sense the small fish that form the bulk of its diet. Photographed in Kumana National Park, Sri Lanka. More at "Colin Pacitti Wildlife Photography & Fishing Travels" - www.colin-pacitti.com.

Seen at the same show as the Prelude, and making for an interesting comparison with it.

A tiny bee fly stays still long enough for a photo. It was on a Podolepis flower. Happy Fly Day Friday everyone! [York, Western Australia]

There are always those plants that test the viability of a space for success in re-colonization.

A quick little Probe droid for James Shield's

Hoth project

le pedí permiso para hacerle la foto y me respondió "SI PERO NO TENGO DINERO"

Why yes, it's another tablescrap that morphed into a drone or a spaceship...

'What's with all the panic to get this probe up?'

'Well, if that new object up there is a black hole, we're...'

'Probe Rover II, Control here, you're on open mic...'

'fudged... If on the other hand that is Old Tom's new doughnut delivery system, we're going to need a lot of coffee...'

Ford Probe GT in Rastede.

I've seen a probe droid picture by Udo Stafflinger which is awesome, so I thought I'd have a bash at my own.

A wild buzzard in the Flevopolder in the Netherlands. Winter 2019

Ford Probe from Romania seen in Cambridge.

Surprisingly successful probing for worms through a layer of snow.

Perhaps there is more in my camera than meets the eye!

A more substantial probe launch and tracking platform...

Rover on tracks and 2 persons wide (just), with a tracking array, and space for different probes that can be launched with a rocket. And a rocket trailer that doubles as launch platform.

Not perfect yet, but I was in a bit of a hurry to get this done in celebration of the real Black Hole picture presented today (April 4 2019).
