Hibiscus In temperate zones, probably the most commonly grown ornamental species is Hibiscus syriacus, the common garden hibiscus, also known in some areas as the "Rose of Althea" or "Rose of Sharon" (but not to be confused with the unrelated Hypericum calycinum, also called "Rose of Sharon"). In tropical and subtropical areas, the Chinese hibiscus (H. rosa-sinensis), with its many showy hybrids, is the most popular hibiscus.
The probably most photographed stone in the Coyote Buttes South, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Arizona.

probably my best photo of a very difficult 2020 for everyone, its one of them crazy photos of a Reed Warbler feeding a juvenile Cuckoo, something Ill never seen again
Probably the world's most famous bridge, the Ponte Vecchio was Florence's first bridge to cross the Arno River. Documents trace it back to the 10th century, though it's thought to date back to Roman times when the Via Cassia crossed the river here. Twice destroyed by floods, this incarnation was built in 1345. Shops have always been on the bridge; at first butchers, tanners, and food stalls, but today's shops sell jewelry, art, and souvenirs – they smell better.
A long-secret passage called the Vasari Corridor rests atop the bridge's shops. Medici ruler Grand Duke Cosimo I commissioned architect Giorgio Vasari in 1564 to design it to provide a safe way for the Duke to get from his Pitti Palace residence to his administrative offices across the river at the Vecchio Palace, nearly a kilometer away. (Its course snakes right through buildings, including the reknowned Uffizi gallery). And by the way, its entire length is lined with rare artworks (heavy on portraits).
Probably Australia's most iconic biscuit ever. A bit too sweet for me. For Macro Mondays, theme: biscuit. HMM
Probably one on the most photographed tree in North Wales, Llyn Padarn, so maybe not the lone tree after all.

Probably my favourite image I've taken this year. It was the morning we were allowed to travel from tiers that were in the same tier as our own locality to others in the same tier for the first time.
Forecast was never for snow, and was never for mist, but was for beautiful clear skies. So I chose The Roaches in the Peaks, not a huge journey away. Bonkers weather on the way, snow, heavy snow, blizzards, fog, mist....and none of it forecast.
Wandered up to the trig point on The Roaches after arrival and looked across to Shutlingsloe and wave after wave of snow and mist was flowing all round which calmed down nearer sunrise leaving much clearer skies which occasionally lit up that magnificient lump.
... probably a kind of long range effect of the devastating wildfires in British-Columbia in summer 2017 with a lots of smoke particles in the air which lead to this copper coloured sky and light ...
Probably the most common duck worldwide, but maybe also the prettiest? I never tire of capturing them.
probably afk ....

Probably one of the most difficult places this trip to photograph. It was raining at the time and also it was very busy, so finding a spot was already a challenge. The flat light wasn’t working in my favour as well. But standing here, between all the selfie-makers, that really liked a majestic waterfall as a background for their even more majestic faces, I found a composition I like. And for me the b&w conversion creates the atmosphere I was looking for. The waterfall itself was really spectacular to watch!
Thanks for having a look! All faves and comments are highly appreciated!
Probably not the most attractive of images up on the power lines but it isn't too often I see three Kookaburra's together.
I am sure you know what they sounds like - www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9HqvXy7wkc
and hearing all three joyously calling is a beautiful thing.
A smile for Sunday.
As I already explained in my previous image of similar title, this is what is going on in this Northern Paradise. We passed by watching in horror and pushing the accelerator to the very bottom to get away from this madness as fast as possible. ... Call me selfish, call me a friggin individualist, but I will NEVER stand in a line experiencing such places in a melee ;)
Needless probably to add that their two minibuses were almost blocking a very narrow road while about 500 metres further there was a parking lot! Gosh I hate this new photographic vandalism!
are probably better suited to your part of the world Maite....being it's 70 degrees!
It's snowing here. Trade ya'

And here's a song that I have been listening to (yes, I am a product of the 80's)
Quite possibly the silliest video I have ever seen.

Probably the worst pain I feel is the pain I make for myself.

Making mistakes since '94, you'd think I'd fucking learn sometime to unwind, to be less kind, to play the fool, to drop like a useless tool.
This is a made up diddy to help me feel pretty, please ignore, walk on, stand tall, continue to endure.
Probably the most impressive waterfalls I've seen to date. Amazing walk and so much to find, will be returning in the Autumn for sure.
Probably last of the different sparrows spotted and captured this year. This beautiful Harris's Sparrow with that unique black head and neck. A most unique sound!:
Probably circa 1880 for John Bateman.Made of plastered cement blocks built on a raft which was used as a folly/bathing house but was probably going to be used as a lighthouse.Brightlingsea was going to be a port which did not materialize.
Probably one of the most photographed, most tourist packed and most overrated locations in Norway, in my opinion.
We were leaving Lofoten when I took this picture. It was a brilliant sunset and I hadn't yet been able to take that "classic" Lofoten picture. When I saw this view here I just stopped and took some pictures, because OF COURSE I need to have something. I think it turned out very well.
My thoughts about Lofoten, well, it's not ideal for travelers who want to sleep in tents. Do yourself a favor and go there with an RV or something like that. Be prepared to not find any parking places, especially in Henningsvær for example. Reine was also full of people and we only found a free parking spot after six in the evening. Other people were parking along the main road but I wasn't brave like them. I already got stuck once on this trip.
I have to say I prefer southern Norway with its majestic fjords and valleys to Lofoten, but Lofoten definitely has a unique look and so, so many bridges.

Probably the most photographed place in Lofoten. Late afternoon capture consisting of of two shifts with the PCE 24mm.
Probably the best known and most visited waterfall in Iceland. Gullfoss translated means "golden waterfall". It has a total height of 32 meters, which is divided into two steps ( 21 and 11 meters), where the water of the river Hvitá flows.
There probably will no big firework happening today. That’s why I'm taking recourse to a flower photograph what, with some fantasy (ok, lots of fantasy) is looking similar to one.
And with that I thank You all from the bottom of my heart for Your interest, the time You spend with my photos and Your warm and motivating comments.
I wish You a soft transition into the year 2022 and I'm looking forward to show You many more beautiful moments.

Probably one of my favorite birds to photograph. Reddish Egret taking off at Dos Vacas Muertas Bird Sanctuary, Galveston Island, Texas.
Probably Tagetes lemmonii, Lemmon's marigold. In any case, a fine flowering head, with about 8 large ray flowers. You can see anthers among the disc flowers, at the larger sizes.
Thank you for looking. Isn't God a great artist?
Probably less than half the size of the previous bird, the Green Kingfisher is the smallest of the three North American species, with an appropriately scaled catch. Crossing the resaca at Sabal Palms Sanctuary south of Brownsville, Texas.
