A place marker, erased and recreated by years of living in its shadow. I’m a punctuater when it comes to painting. I feel the need for exclamation points, when simply laid sentences will do. There’s a lamination to painting these mountains. I fold and refold with chunks of color rolled out and stretched into impossibly thin and distinct layers.

First "sketch" on iPad. Am getting better. I think :)
