In preparation for an exhibition at Museum Voswinckelshof in Dinslaken, Germany. Proud to be able to participate.
I was originally going to upload something else and wait a while to upload this figure, but figured I might aswell show this figure off before it goes on my shelf and I forget to upload it for another year.
Anyway, figure is sculpted with Procreate. I mainly used the Scum and Villainy Collection Sideshow Bossk as reference. The lower legs and lower arms can turn 360° (both are attached to the respective upper body parts with pegs), the head comes off, the arms can bend and the rifle can also be put in his left hand (Hence why it's in a gripping position). The grenade rifle itself is a bunch of modded brickarms weapons bashed together, then detailed with some procreate. The sculpt wraps around the entire body, meaning, the tubes and stuff and jumpsuit actually wrap around the entire waist.
Anyway, so far I consider this figure to be my best (even topping my Predator), hope you all like it just as much as me!
I watched a YouTube video “‘How to Paint like de Kooning” with Corey D’Augustine from MOMA. Lots of fun. This is the painting I made. I’m no deKooning (or D’Augustine) but I learned things and had fun.

I’m trying to get looser in my work. Chaos does not come naturally to me. I did a series of three action paintings all in one sitting. I was happy with the first and last, they are presented here As Action Painting #3 and action Painting #5. They were all done in the same Photoshop file so I was also able to combine them as layers in different combinations. One of those is also presented here.
Norway maples produce massive amounts of seeds, as this shows, my tree is like this all over. They are banned in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, also The State of New York has classified them as an invasive plant species.
Mine came with the house so its staying, hate to think what it would cost to take it down anyway.

I originally rejected this as not being good enough to release. I couldn’t see a way to “finish“ it. With the passage of a little time I have come to like it more and see it as finished.
Original digital painting with ProCreate.
I’ll admit, this one is a bit of a throwaway. It started out just as an exploration of some new brushes, but it was a lot of fun and I love looking at it so I thought I would share it.

This is a breakthrough for me - I have never achieved this level of looseness and controlled chaos in one of my paintings. YeeeHa!
Thanks to Betty Krause on YouTube and her “Abstractly Yours” series.

This was created on my iPad Pro using Repix and Procreate - I am plugging along on the iPad but liking the possibilities.
100% procreate. Real fun to do! Mixture between painting and photobashing. Truly amazed how great this little app works!

This image is a portrait of someone I asked to photograph years ago when we worked together. After years of not seeing each other we connected on social media and she began to see my mobile images. Finally she acquiesced. So glad we reconnected. This image is layered in Procreate, some fine tuning in Snapseed and text added in IColorama.
