Not my usual fare for a Doors Open event, but I've been working on improving my own audio production skills for both my voice-over work on video and the CCR podcast. So what better place to ask some questions than a professional recording studio. Plus as a bonus I got to use a massive SSL recording desk, see a 24-track reel-to-reel tape, and see how compressors and tube amps work in the real world.

Most of the work was on taking them from "legendarily terrible sound" back to "absolutely pro gear again," but most of that is invisible. From a photo standpoint, cleanup and paint did more.
