Teahupoo, Taiarapu, Tahiti..Australian Joel Fitzgerald (pictured), a big wave specialist, is one of the major contenders to pick up one of three wild cards in the Air TahitiNui VZ Trials at Teahupoo, in Tahiti which starts today (May 1). From May 1 – 5 sixteen international Teahupoo surfing specialists will take on 32 local Tahitians in the Air TahitiNui VZ Trials at the world’s premier break for three days of competition within the May 1 - 5 holding period. .Three wildcards will be awarded to the top two placed Tahitians and the next highest placed surfer in the Air TahitiNui VZ Trials. The wildcards will then be seeded into the Billabong Pro which features the top 45 ASP surfers in the world. Not bad for a four year old iPod Touch. I needed it. I am still waiting on my iPhone 7+ to get out of processing and ship, and my iPhone 5 has a swollen battery. Of course, I cannot get that fixed since the phone is four years old and no longer in production. The iPhone 5 was pretty, although the iPhone 4 was nicer. I should get another iPhone 4, since the mother left mine sitting in a puddle of water on the counter for an unknown period of time and was wondering why it no longer worked.
One not so wonderful thing is I cannot update my new iPod Touch from 2012 to iOS 10. Oh, why must I be plagued with these first world problems.
