Along Cleaver Rd on the outskirts of Paris ON. I have enjoyed this road especially and will need to find its twin up here in Goderich ON.
Happy Fence Friday
It was strong light coming from yonder, so this was a bit hard to catch the right way.
Everyday can be a whole other change in the light.

Taken some years ago in Sparta ON while visiting Winter Wheat. Winter Wheat is no longer there unfortunately.

Railings are NOT fences!!!!
I have been out and about a great deal lately. Seeing as I was ill for almost a month. (I rarely get sick) I always have a large archive of photos to fall back on. I have been deleting some of those also. Quite often there are way too many duplicates.
Happy Fence Friday
Most times it is the time of day that really makes the shot great. Yes you can add some flavour in post but it generally has to have a bit of vibe within it. If you know what I mean.
Happy Fence Friday
A tiny bit of snow in this picture. Don't be mad at me. I still have a few of those....lol
It is quite a bit warmer here the last few days.

Along Black Hole Road just outside Goderich ON. Nice road but no room to pull over.

Railings are Not Fences.
We do not have any snow here at present. It has been very rainy. I am sure it will stay soon enough.
Railings are not fences. Railings in fence groups annoy me. It is like putting a car shot in a truck group.
Happy Fence Friday
I find the fence pictures with more of a brown tone (semi sepia tone) seem to have a slight bit more of appeal. I guess it is a rustic look in a way.

Life is in a constant segue. Transitioning from one thing to another. It is always there. The next move. From here to there.
Happy Fence Friday
Sometimes things will go off into a new direction. It is at that point you have a choice.
Don't waste that time thanking me. Just spend that time to come and see my stream. The thanking system defeats the whole purpose. The thank you is in your visit.

Railings are NOT Fences!!!
There is over the fence on the left side. There is over the fence on the right side. There is over the fence way down in the far off pasture. There is staying right here where the camera is. Different lives for different course of actions.

Every evening gather several thousand visitors in Oia, to enjoy the famous Santorini sunset.
On the first afternoon I came too late and had to content myself with a location that did not offer the best view of the scenery because of the building in the foreground.
Thanks for visiting!

Whoa! There is a lot going on here. The first thing that struck me was why was a door propped up against the house. The closer I look the more I think it is actually attached to the house. I guess it is the way in, but it is in a funny position in relation to the windows.
The next thing I noticed is how do you easily get to the front door? It is like an obstacle course.
Thirdly, this house seems to be a repository for plastic yard furniture, all shapes, sizes and colors welcome.
Fourthly, why are there so many flower pots and no flowers?
Lastly, why isn’t there a yard sale? Does this stuff all have special meaning to the homeowners? Stick a 25 cents price tag on everything and be done with it!
Sometimes it is good to go down different roads. New things are waiting to be seen. Thus this fence and gate.
I hope everyone is fine.
Remember, it is garbage day somewhere.

Another shot from Brighton, Missouri. The highway (13) between Springfield and Kansas City used to run right through this little town...until they built a new one. The rest really is history....
I don't remember the location, but I like it.I take so many shots on any given day it is hard to place these.
The white snow makes it recently though. So odd because it has rained all night and day and washed a great deal of it away.
Happy Fence Friday
Within this life there are times when we are locked into something. Other times we are fully open. I know this metaphor can apply to many things.
This is a bit different from my usual fence shot but it had something I liked.
Happy Fence Friday
This fence shot is up near the 403 highway in a slightly industrial area. Some gravel pits also. I am thinking that there hopefully will not be many more of these scenes to shoot.
Happy Fence Friday
Another gate at the end of a fence. Enter or do not enter, this is yours to decide. I think I am going in. Just a bit. Just to say that I was in there. Not to get into trouble. Just to be there for a brief moment.
Happy Fence Friday and remember, it is garbage day somewhere.
I like new things. But I also love the old. The stories old things can tell us. Our beginnings.
I do not like old buildings to be taken down. Sometimes I understand the need. But old things were really built to stand the test of time.

This 1960 flatbed truck, a product of the White Motor Company, is parked in a remote corner of downtown Wheaton. It happens to be for sale, if you're interested, for its original purchase price of $2,500.

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
This building was designed in 1928 by the architect Javier Goerlich in the historicist / neo-baroque style for its promoter Asunción Bianchi. It is located where Plaza del Ayuntamiento meets Calle San Vicente. It is known as "Edificio Bianchi" or "Almacenes Rey Don Jaime", as these were the ones that occupied its ground and main floor from its construction until the end of the 1950s. The building was inaugurated in 1930.

So I guess it is just sign that is going to keep you out of there. I don't know how effective that will be, but each to their own.

A rather mysterious space, I think it might be the entrance to a new condo building - there's an opening in the mid-point of the tunnel or it could be a service entrance. The space was posted as being private property - not a pedestrian pass through. Off to the right and out of the frame a man stood watching so I couldn't explore further.
