Cruise on the Nile

The Nile is the vital source of Egypt, the artery that runs throughout the country, from the south to the north, only navigating to the nerve of the waters of that river will feel its importance and beauty - and in practical terms, some archaeological sites be seen in the best way on boat trips.

Sailing was the slowest and most relaxing way to travel, and even from that of a multi-story floating hotel I felt the magic of the place.

Isis is the most popular of all Egyptian goddesses, the model of wives and mothers, the protector of invincible magic.

*The worship of Isis was ended by the rise of Christianity in the fourth and fifth centuries CE. Her worship may have influenced Christian beliefs and practices such as the veneration of Mary, but the evidence for this influence is ambiguous and often controversial.

The changeover of constructing temples in Ancient Egypt from limestone to sandstone may have started with the Temple of Kheny. It appears that the Temple of Kheny may be the "mother temple" to all future temples built with sandstone.

According to Nilsson:

The oldest building phase of the temple was made up by limestone, which is unique within a sandstone quarry, and may signify the official changeover from limestone construction to sandstone.

The video is narrated in my native language, Portuguese, I'm sorry.

I speak at the beginning of the narration that the ship is docked at Luxor, the starting point of my trip across the Nile. I show the direction of the 4 day trip from Luxor to Aswan. Soon after I show the Valley of the Kings and Queens (and others) that I flew in the morning by hot air balloon and where and the east bank of the river, where is the city of Luxor.

I say the deck is empty right after lunch, because the heat is burning, it looks like I'm in a microwave (about 43ºC).

The floating hotel ship is phenomenal.
