One of the most interesting pieces of convergent media at the moment in my opinion is the Daily for the iPad. The iPad's daily newspaper is the first of it's kind. It is created specially for the iPad and is very user friendly, with videos and interactive sections. This is worrying for the future of the printing press, in the image it shows the grave of the printing press. At the moment, online news is very popular, but not that viable due to it being free. But Apple along with Mr Murdoch may have cracked it. The daily is not for free, is only available for iPad's and therefore offers an air of exclusivity, which we know some people will LOVE. This is just another step forward in convergent media, how popular it will be is yet to be seen.
