... macro mondays … printed word ...

hmm !

If you say that someone has to eat their words, you mean that they have to admit that they were wrong about something they said in the past, especially when this makes them look foolish. My husband says I'm never wrong :))

I used a dessert fork for this to keep well within the size guidelines.

A small section from the front cover of my Daughters Twilight Journal!

“About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn’t know how potent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”

— Stephenie Meyer

A Miniature Book of Quotes.

When I first read this quote, I thought 'Yes, peace perfect peace. Alone with my thoughts, take a walk, a photo here are there and so on.... hence my title.

However when I Googled Ellen Burstyn, I was saddened to read about her very troubled life which led her eventually to this conclusion.

I realised how lucky I have been with my life and can appreciate my simple pleasures.. all the more.

I really appreciate any Views, Faves and Comments and I will try to visit your sites in due course. Thank you so much.

For MacroMondays#PrintedWord, my attempt to catch both prints, on the magazine and on the glasses.

This is the most compassionate word in the world and it can be found in almost every book, yet people turn themselves away from it. The important thing to note here, is that it does not require any efforts to come close to it, just love it.

People may hear your Words,

but they feel your Attitude.

Death flowers, a song from the Rolling Stones

Death flowers is a vicious farewell song to a girlfriend

Send me dead flowers to my wedding and I won't forget to put roses on your grave!

Some people think the song is about heroin!

I don’t know about the things you can win, the cereal is full of nice things!

I have this recipe book from one of the old aunties, and it's entirely written by hand. You know, that beautiful old-fashioned script that people used to write with years ago...nobody has as much pride in their handwriting now, do they? Or maybe I'm wrong. But sometimes I look at my scribble and feel very guilty for not putting in more effort. And mind you, my writing's not all that bad. But I really admire people who can write in such beautiful cursive lettering.

The Macro Monday theme today is “Printed Word”. My image is a photograph of a list of spells from the “Dungeons and Dragons” players handbook (proving conclusively my nerd status). The light in the foreground is of course from invoking the “Dancing Lights” spell (or it could be Photoshop … lol).

Happy Macro Monday everyone!

A shot taken out of a very old book. Published 1832 and purchased at a flea market. Merely decorative they are. The book is called "Chronicles of the Cannongate" by Sir Walter Scott. The Fair Maid of Perth.
