It is still early Spring and the fountains and cascades still haven't been started, but a couple of Cherry trees are starting to bloom.
Spring is taking it's time arriving this year. Literally snowed all day today. (Although warm enough that it wasn't really building up on roadways).
Perfect Tea Rose, late in the season.
A group of volunteers makes sure that flowers are blooming on the Bridge Of Flowers from early Spring through late Autumn.
If I have missed or misidentified flowers, please let me know.
I've been reworking some of my 'Days Out' files! Gone back to the Eden Project in 2011!! Very serious! Charlotte would have been 3!!
Grab a record, put on Culture Club, and head back to the nostalgic 80`s in the Pretty In Pink Hidden Object game! This is your chance to relive the memorable story of Andie, Duckie, Blane, and the rest of the cast's unforgettable characters, but this time their fate is in your hands. Will the rich-boy Blane capture the heart of not-so-popular Andie, or will she end up with her tragically-in-love best friend, Duckie?

Hazel is sporting her new pink Soft Paws. They show up quite well on her snow white paws!
Acadiana Humane Society believes that declawing a cat is inhumane, as it removes the whole first digit of their fingers to prevent the claw from growing back. I certainly would not want the first digit on each of my fingers removed! Would you? One alternative is the use of Soft Paws. It is like a rubber fake fingernail that you superglue to their claws. It lasts about 4 to 6 weeks before they need to be replaced. For more information you can check out their website: www.softpaws.com/
As one of our services, we offer free Soft Paws with any adoption. One of our volunteers will install them and show the new owners how to do it. We also sell Soft Paws as a fundraiser for our rescue animals.
