I have no idea what this is, but it's pretty. And, I think that might be a tent caterpillar making a home.
I can tell it's the weekend when both my daughters trash their bedroom with the dressing up clothes. All the costumes come out. The giggles I can hear are worth all the clearing up :-)
This evening he was watching a red tabby make a ruckus, I had to emerge from my home and check it out. The other kitty seemed to want to come home with me, but on the other side of the fence two terrible terriers were dying to meet the originator of the ruckus. So I brought out first some treats, then some kibble of which the tabby ate every single bit with my Pretty Kitty watching. Then the red tabby had the audacity to follow me in to the yard. I had managed to lure my pups inside so they watched in amazement and with barely a protest as this kitty explored our yard and seemed to want to make itself at home. No cat has dared to come in to our yard since the more then seven years that Isabella, my first dog, lives with me. Nice to have our Pretty Kitty not fight with another cat for a change. A nice leather band suggests he must have a home, but he looks a bit skinny and rather dirty. HFF! - 193
#001. This is my first shot of a series of unknown people that I've planned to shot. I've forgot to ask her name...so I think she'll remain unknown forever. I met her outside a bookstore in Turin, where a bookreading was just started. We finished to smoke and went in. I was not sure choosing bw or color...so I've desaturated a bit, but I've mantained the original color of lips and enamel fingernail.

Van's Warped Tour
..so we weren't allowed to photograph The Pretty Reckless, but I REALLY wanted to photograph Taylor so I just took my 85mm into the crowd and got a couple of shots, the best I could do. I'm pleased!

Our pretty little male Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna) perched on a broken branch of our Rose of Sharon bush. This has become a popular perch in the garden as I have a number of different birds perched here! This guy looks like he's plumping up for winter!
