Laila's favourite color is pink. I agree; she looks so pretty in her pink satin nightie and pink high heels.

Bokehlicious pink daisies with a touch of purple.

I love these beautiful simple flowers, they are hardy and grows anywhere in my garden.

Have a lovely weekend!

I could not access flickr for the last few days, still having problems with it!

Monarchs always find the zinnias.

It's interesting to see how the 100 or so that I planted seem to be grouped by color (I had no idea of the colors when I planted them) and the various colors seem to be blooming at different times. The purple ones bloomed first; then the hot pink, and this morning I found a patch of white ones beginning to bloom.

I love looking pretty!

so I made these tins, for you and all. I used vintage wallpaper, recycled scraps of paper, and various bits and pieces to cover them. I hope you like.

I am always intrigued by the different shapes and colours of the blooms that come out amongst my African Daisies. They come out this pretty pale white/pink star shape and then gradually deepen until they are a lovely hot pink or candy stripe pink. I also have a white variety that grow in another part of the garden. They are all putting on a wonderful display during the early days of Spring.

Another of my photos of an African Daisy won first prize in the photo of the week of another photographic site that I visit with 45% of the votes - I am so excited, as it was another favourite of mine.
