This is a photograph of the President mountain in Yoho National park, Canadian Rockies. This shot I took almost two years ago on a strenuous hike in the hills. It was a tough one!!
From Wikipedia: The President is a mountain peak on the The President/Vice-President Massif, just North of Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, near the Alpine Club of Canada's Stanley Mitchell hut.
The President was named Shaugnessy in 1904 by Edward Whymper after Thomas Shaugnessy, the president of the Canadian Pacific Railway. In 1907, the mountain was renamed by the Alpine Club of Canada, after it was discovered that the name had already been used on a mountain in the Selkirks.

Originally a colonial mint, the Palacio de la Moneda (or Currency Palace) became the seat of government and presidential palace in 1845. In 1930, Plaza de la Constitucion (Constitution Square) was built in front of the palace.

In one of the infinite alternative realities a certain Donald J. Kylo has been “elected” President of the United States.
However the many Federal investigations produced enough evidence for an impeachment and now Donald J. Kylo is being arrested.
Agent Gordon (it’s actually Commissioner Gordon Minifigure from The Lego Batman Movie):
“Donald J. Kylo, you are under arrest for… [a very long list of charges follow, including Title 18, Part I, Chapter 37, § 794 (it does exist)].
Officer Barbara: “You have the right to remain silent and we all hope you will exert it” [Followed by the typical warnings, Law people call them Miranda’s Warnings, if I remember US law correctly lol].
Donald J. Kylo: “How dare you! I will never remain silent! I will grab you by the *meow*! I’m Donald J. Kylo, the 45th President of the United States of…Russia!”
“Oops! Did I say Russia? It’s not a confession! Everyone knows I suck at geography!”
Agent Gordon: “Come with us”
Donald J. Kylo: “No! Wait! I know the correct answer! It’s United States of Andorra?”
Officer Barbara proceeds to restrain the suspect.
Donal J. Kylo: “Wait! I know! It’s United States of Fiji Islands? Vatican City? Where the hell am I?
Officer Barbara: “In a Federal prison very soon”
Of course I had to censor some part of Donald Kylo lines because he uses very rude words so don’t ask what the word between the two * actually represents, ok? It’s all his speech not mine lol, so blame him and blame him always lol :)

I always enjoy seeing Rushmore. The most patriotic place I have visited.
If you have the opportunity to visit Rushmore, make sure you go to the night lighting. It honors the Presidents, but also our Veterans. The Veterans are called up on stage, and one of them raises the flag. Then everyone sings God Bless America. It is quite a moving event, or least it was for me and the people that attended
it with me.

Today, in the USA, it is President's Day. How could I resist placing up a photo from Mt. Rushmore where four of our President's likeness have been carved into HUGE granite cliffs.
From left to right ... Washington, Jefferson, T. Roosevelt, and Lincoln. The trees give you some idea of how HUGE these carvings are.
