I've had these sneakers for years now, and lord knows how many miles I've put on 'em. I know that doesn't jive with the running-shoe gods. And I know I'm probably doing all manner of bad things to my feet and knees and shins and back by continuing to run in these old things, but I find it hard to justify the expense of new running shoes when there are so many other gadgets and gizmos I can buy with that same money!!!
In any event, they continue to serve me well. Made it through another 3+ miles on the treadmill tonight. Does doing it twice negate the whole "beginner's luck" thing I attributed Tuesday night's performance to?
3.39 miles. 30 mins. WoOt!
I'm putting in the work, and dear god, it better be worth it, because while I'm putting in the miles running and working hard at capo, I haven't felt this utterly ragged and worn in a very long time.
