One of the more unique Kenner Predators was Stalker. maybe it was the ram's horns, or the glow-in-the-dark play feature, or the harpoons, but I always loved the fact that his armor is mostly made from a Xenomorph's hide! It's easier to see on the box art, since the artwork remembered to color in the teeth on the Alien face on his chestplate. It's also easier to spot in the non-glowing repaint, which darkened the colors, but you can see it here, too.

Another bird photo from the artificial lake of Faneromeni. Same things apply as with the previous bird photo: I couln't get any nearer with my equipment and even this one is extremely cropped.
I don't know birds well enough to recognize the species (some species of Buteo perhaps?), any help will be appreciated :)

Batman versus Predator

The Predator is at Bat.
For the uninitiated, the Predator is a gory movie monster with a spider’s mouth and an obsession with human skulls and spines. The Bat is Bruce Wayne. In his second identity, he’s a very famous superhero whose new movie will hit theaters soon. And Batman does not want to play patty cake with the monster.
This odd mix of characters is not a new movie. “Batman Versus Predator” is a comic book series. Another ingredient in this odd mix is that it’s published by two companies. And, if this unusual stew still isn’t peculiar enough, two versions of the same story are being released simultaneously.
The McDonald’s version of this mini-series is tasty, affordable, and fast paced. It looks just like all of the other comics on the newsstands. The Sardi’s edition features heavier covers, trading cards, and a gallery of alternative covers by famous comics artists … and a steep price.
Amazingly, despite the number of chefs with hands in this stew, it tastes pretty good.
It isn’t palatable for its plot. Basically, the monster and Batman beat each other up. It isn’t really suspenseful. Everyone knows neither character will kill the other because both make their owners lots of money. This book works because of its style.
The art is excellent, and the storytelling is terse. Technically, everything is done much better than just well. The artistic team understands what made both characters work in film, and they’ve translated that to comics.

More Predator figures are being added to my collection and I just can’t have enough of them! 8 inches tall. Released in 2012. This one may look a bit dull from the distance but closer look in person it is a real cool figure.

this guy did an excellent job of making his costume. He used an Incredibles rubber outfit and heavily modded everything. The rubber face was completely white and he spray painted the orange and added spots.

The Predator is our run’n’gun stability kit for the Canon C100, C300 and C500*. The fixed LCD screen of the C100 camera particularly lends itself to this compact, simple kit. It is perfect for fast paced shoots and lightweight set ups.
The Predator starts with our Gorilla Baseplate. The rest of the framework attaches via a vertical post that connects to the underside of the plate via a quick-release ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate via standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” screw holes. The Gorilla Plate has a 15mm port on the side to attach an accessory arm like the Standard Mount for our EVF. It also has two lightweight threaded rod ports on the front. You can add rods to hold a follow focus or mattebox.
The Predator includes an adjustable gunstock on a ball joint that can settle comfortably into the shooters chest to create a solid brace. The ‘handle’ portion of the Predator is ourC100/300 Grip Relocator. The Canon removable camera grip attaches directly to our Grip Relocator handle and our exclusive cable connects to the port on your camera. Once its plugged in, users have trigger or on/off control, lens aperture control, and a programmable function button that can be set to a number of things including waveform, 1 to 1 zoom, zebras, my menu, and many more. The cable is 24" long.
C100 Users: We recommend the Predator be used with our C100 Z-finder directly on the camera LCD. Our Z-finder will magnify the screen, cut out the light, and has a diopter to adjust for any eyesight issues. It also gives the user one more point of stability. *The Predator can be used on the C500 but you must have a C100/C300 grip for this kit to work.
