Orlando massacre: Deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. I left home this morning and it was 20 dead, I just returned and found out that the death toll is now 50 with another 50 injured.
Pray for world peace and stay blessed.
Please let your love, thoughts and prayers be unconditional and from pure compassion for the innocent victims of Orlando, Florida, USA. June 12, 2016 (06-12-2016)
I am a Christian, male, heterosexual resident of Florida. This tragedy happened to my neighbors, brother and sister citizens. This art work is from a sunset of 6-12-2016, in my hometown of Saint Augustine, FL. Me and my dog Trailer are facing west towards our sister city, Orlando, FL. I overlaid the Rainbow image in honor and respect for the freedom and pride of our Gay community. We should also note that this was an attack also on our Hispanic community and that is equally horrible and wrong...

All Are Welcome Here
Church records show that First Congregational Church got its start in the log cabin of its founder, James T. Gifford. It’s a landmark that existed only three blocks from the current church structure.
The church’s present building – its third- was constructed at the corners of Chicago and Center Streets in 1889 at a cost of $35,000. Constructed with red pressed brick and brownstone trim, the interior was laid out as a “church in the round,” or the “Akron” style popular at the time.
The sanctuary included an organ with over 250 pipes – an instrument that still ranks as one of the largest in the Fox Valley. The large seating capacity of First Congregational Church soon made it a community auditorium on par with the current Hemmens Cultural Center.
Jane Addams, Booker T. Washington, and John Dewey were among the notables who spoke in the building. The sanctuary also served as the sight of high school graduations and other community functions.
Today's photo - "We Stand with Orlando"
In the only way I know how, this photograph represents how I feel about the tragic events that unfolded on this day in Orlando. 50 Souls lost their lives. 50 young souls who had so much more life and gifts to offer the world were silenced in the most horrific way; all because of hate.
Let there peace in America and around the world. Let us stop killing, stop hating, stop misunderstanding each other. Let's educate ourselves and become tolerant of each others views, beliefs, preferences, faith, and just love one another. We're human in the end no matter what. Just Love. Peace and Love - it goes a long way.
Cheers.
Scenes from last night’s Kiss Goodnight Vigil at the Magic Kingdom. So much emotion from last night seeing thousands show up for a moment of silence during the already emotional Kiss Goodnight. I was so moved by the number of participants and the amount of love and support from the Disney community. My heart is broken for this city but the amount of support and strength that has been pouring out of it makes me proud and hopeful.
No words can begin to comprehend the anguish of friends of families affected by the deadly shooting at Pulse Night Club in Orlando, killing 49 innocent victims... Beyond words as to describe the emotions currently going through.
The Orlando Shootings hits much closer to home, being part of the LGBTQ community, the attack was not just fuelled by terror but also by hatred of a single person's actions against a community... The actions cannot be justified.
We stand together in solidarity, love will always be stronger than hatred... We stand together to pay our respects to the innocent victims, the families and friends affected; and we are not afraid to express who we are and who we love. Hatred will never prevail.

A tribute in pastel created with compassion and prayers by expressionist artist Stephen B. Whatley, for all those murdered in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of June 12; and their loved ones - to represent the eternal and all encompassing love, mercy, compassion, hope & peace that Christ & His Holy Mother have and offer for all communities in the world.
The artist often feels a 'Divine push' - even urgency - to make such works of prayer; and aside from this tragedy perpetrated by hate, ignorance & insanity, an inspiration in making this work was a postcard of a photograph of a statue of Mary, Queen of The Universe Shrine in Orlando, Florida, touchingly sent to him by his beloved young God-daughter Marianna.
This work of art was also created on the Feast day of St Anthony - Saint of A Thousand Miracles - which the world sorely needs.

We are heartbroken over the horrible tragedy in Orlando...our thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless and heinous act of violence and hatred...
Hard to put anything into words today... but I think this conveys today.
Better skies will be on the horizon soon.
I’ve struggled personally on deciding to post this from last Saturday night’s Kiss Goodnight Vigil at the Magic Kingdom. It depicts a very personal and heart-wrenching scene of those that lost someone very close to them in the senseless tragedy a week ago. I decided to post it, rather than not, as it has filled me with emotion seeing the very real feelings of pain, of loss, of love, and hope in my own eyes. It shows the emotions of those that truly lost as a result of this tragic event. It brings a very real sense of heartbreak and sadness that is hard to even look at, but I feel is so important for others to see, as it depiction of the very real effect Saturday night had on too many.
All across this great city, people are broken and are finding ways to heal. Saturday night’s vigil was an incredibly powerful scene of sadness, community, and love. No one that came cared where you were born, what your political or religious belief is, what the color of your skin is, or what sexual preference is. Those that came, came in love. It is for these overwhelming number of events that have been organized over the past week that proves to me that we will overcome this, and, hopefully as a society find ways to fix what is broken.
We stand in solidarity with the families of those innocent people who lost their precious lives in the mass shooting massacre in Orlando, Florida. We feel utterly shattered by the cruelty of these barbaric killers.
On this sad day, we are reminded once again of why Wahhabism must be banned in the civilised world.
I know we should be praying for Orlando, but I think we should also pray for the world. With the seats of power changing in America and Britian killing love with hate may become more common place than ever I fear. I hope not... Keep smilin'!
