292/365. Today was the stuff that dreams are made of -- after yesterday's frigid, teeth-of-winter rain and drear, we woke up to clarion sunshine and balmy weather! Absolutely perfect for the long loop! Where we visited the beaver house and heard them talking inside, saw a pair of nesting kestrels at Owl Alley meadow, and watched three bald eagles frolicking overhead over the Blackwell Rd parking lot! And there were carpets of yellow flowers in the woods of the stream on Birch St on the way back, and bloodroots coming into bloom along the titular woods on our walk! Honestly, even if there was just the perfect sunshine and mild temperatures, it would still have been perfect. Then we Rummikubbed and Super Mega Lucky Boxed, then settled into our last non-baseball Sunday with some powerwashing and Egg/knitting. Then we christened the new oven with a Grandis and had an indulgent Leverage binge to cap off the day. Ahhh! (Also, Future Us — if we told you that today, S finally got a French Liz, would you know what we meant?)

Rats, one of my benches fell over and broke the top board...they both have to be painted, but now that one will need a fix of some sort...
