Oh, I was disappointed in the performance of my Rebel XT today. After growing accustomed to the 60D's amazing high-ISO handling, the XT just doesn't do the trick anymore except in almost perfect conditions.

While in Delhi, we heard reports of power outages due to fog, but I just couldn't convince myself of how fog should lead to power outages. After seeing more of the Indian power distribution system, it made a lot more sense.

This is a more than an electric transmission pole, since it had power lines coming from different directions, and was located on the edge of a mountain road, meant for drawing power to a small hamlet located nearby as well as for being part of the local electric transmission grid. This was in the Himalayas, as can be seen in the mountain in the background.
