Found in Terminal 3 transit area, the power room is a great place for ladies to freshen up in-between flights.
A bike that Glenn painted as part of a Blazers art exhibit. Powder coat black and white with wet painted details buried under powder clear coat.
This week we had a trip to Finnland, Levi. The night we arrived it had snowed all day and it kept on snowing all night. When we got to the slopes next morning there was about 50/60cm of powder off piste!
The sun was setting when we shot this, therefore the warm pink tint!
I find that my new 70-200mm f/2.8 IS preforms very well! :-)

I probably wouldn't have planted it if I had realized how HUGE this beauty would get. But the butterflies and other pollinators -- including the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds -- oh my do they love it!
Spent all day at Snowbasin and Powder Mountain waiting for the sun to come out. It did eventually, but only in patches.

This jewel of a powder room features a Kohler 3 faucet sink. The wall of mirrors and vertical and horizontal battens create motion and drama in this small space.

Despite the widespread perception of all-encompassing state surveillance system in China, authorities didn’t seem to be trying to preempt these actions ahead of time.
At least, that was until James Powderly came along. The American graffiti and laser artist was planning to debut a new “laser stencil” in Beijing that would have beamed words and images up to three stories high onto large flat surfaces such as billboards and building facades. On Tuesday, SFT received a Twitter message that Powderly had been detained since 3 a.m., his whereabouts unknown. Previously, the group that Powderly founded, Graffiti Research Lab, was dis-invited from a group exhibition on new media art at a Beijing museum. In a statement Powderly said he was “proud to have been kicked out of the Synthetic Times new media art exhibition in Beijing because he wouldn’t censor his little art project.”
Powderly’s work still managed to be seen in Beijing, albeit on much smaller (and briefer) scale. Last night, a group of five SFT activists used one of Powderly’s inventions, LED “throwies” to spell out “Free Tibet” in English and Chinese in Beijing’s Olympic Park. The five were detained by security personnel after displaying the banner for about 20 seconds, SFT said in a statement.

“BEIJING — In their latest confrontation with pro-Tibetan protesters during the Olympics, Chinese authorities arrested five Americans on Tuesday after they spelled out “Free Tibet” with blue L.E.D. lights near the National Stadium. Three other people, including a New York artist who fashions giant displays with lasers on buildings, were detained for a separate protest.”

In Cwm Silyn... the site also has a block of sadly distressed stables and other more mysterious structures, as well as opencuts and other manganese style acoutrements. This is a little way away from the mine and feels like it would have been a magazine.
