Love very much to take this photo. Since I was a child I love Harry Potter very much, in fact I consider myself Potterhead.

Have you seen the movies or read the books? If so tell me, because I don't have many Potterhead friends.

I send you a big hug and good vibes! And remember "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

Located on this historic street that bears eerie similarities to Diagon Alley, Museum Context is a magnet for Potterheads who want to journey into the wizarding world of Edinburgh. This world famous store has three levels of magic goods. The building itself is quite small, so only a few muggles and wizards can enter at a time. Brimming with official Harry Potter merchandise and items made by local artisans, the facility offers an immersive experience for its visitors. Curiosities range from plush Hedwigs and Potter pin badges, to chocolate frogs. As you ascend two flights of stairs, the shelves, walls, and ceilings are filled with wands, signs, t-shirts, and even replica Nimbus broomsticks. Adding to the authentic Diagon Alley-esque is the store counter with the age-old national cash register, dating back to the 1800s. It is with regret that we leave this shop to find ourselves fortunately the next moment in Diagon Alley...

Always a good location for interesting people - Gandy Street in Exeter.

Unfortunately, a lot of Exonians, Potterheads, and students at the University of Exeter were crushed when J. K. Rowling put the popular rumour to bed. She publicly announced on Twitter that Gandy Street was not the inspiration for Daigon Alley.

For some reason everyone has always loved to rag on the Hufflepuffs, but what people forget is we happen to be the MOST AWESOME of the all the houses. We are chill, fun, loyal, love food, animals and plants.

I loved The World of Magic event, being a hard core Potterhead since the books were released. I have gone back several times just to walk around and enjoy the build.

A few weeks ago, i visited the Warner Bros. Studios in London UK and as a big Potterhead, i was totally fascinated by the exhibited sceneries, so i decided to build something out of this great World, which is getting popular again.

The Scene is out of the Order of the Phoenix and it shows the moment before Bellatrix Lestrange kills her cousin, Sirius Black, which is by the way one of my favorite Characters from HP, in the Chamber of Death in the Department of Mysteries.

The Part i used for the fog, or whatever it is, is a LEGO-Plastic bag.

I hope you like it !

Meet my new girl. She is an adorable custom by Mariuka Dolls. Thank you so much Andreea! She casted a spell on me and I love her so much. ^_^

She told me her name is Hermione (her-my-oh-nee). As in Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.

I'm late to the Harry Potter world and I'm in the process of watching the movies. Does this make me a Potterhead? :P

It's Movie Night again and Stormtrooper Bruce couldn't be happier! He's planned a long weekend with a mega marathon of nonstop movies, food and drink. The guys wouldn't expect anything less from STB, whether they be wizards, muggles or squibs!

TK-432: Dude, so sorry we couldn't make it last weekend, but from the looks of things, I'm guessing we're going to make up for lost time this weekend!

STB: Right you are - things are back to normal this weekend, which means things might get a little crazy before it's over.

TK-1110: Well, it doesn't take a brainiac to guess we've gotten our letters, headed for Hogwarts, and making a stop at The Three Broomsticks along the way!

STB: Correctamundo! And - we're going to pick a character to be for each movie, too. For the first one we should be Harry, Ron and Hermione. I'm Harry since I'm the Host with the Most.

TK-1110: Then I'm Hermione since she was the brainiac of the three!

TK-432: Well, that makes me Ron, Harry's brother from another mother. Having said that, I'm not really crazy about Scabbers back there! He gives me the creeps. Next time, maybe Trevor the Toad would be a better choice. Just saying.

STB: Note taken. Now Potterheads, let's sit back and see where that staircase takes us - we've got some mischief to manage!

More like, Grint is my King. :D And I'm the Queen. :)) Kidding! (not really)

Got my Potterhead shirt yesterday by DLM! It's a big for me cause I thought they have the same size as for the normal shirts. I think they have male size shirts. I didn't get to check their size chart. XD Though it's okay, I love it loose. I'll just cut it when their style tutorials come out. I can't wait to order more and wear it on the 14th! :D If you're a Harry Potter fan like me, their Potterhead collection is a MUST. :D

Thank you for the testimonial Amanda! :D Check out her inspiring photostream!

It was October and we were staying Glenfinnan for the week, as my kids had surprised us with a trip on the Jacobite the Christmas before. As a landscape tog I of course had see many a photo of this train going over the famous viaduct but until I started arranging the accommodation and booking the dates I never knew the trains increased fame was to do with a boy wizards franchise. The base was ideal as I would be out with my camera early doors but during the day the area was chocker with Potterheads from all over the world. Cars being dumped in private roads to be vacates by figures in cloaks and pointy hats, just to dash to see the train pass. Although it’s a photograph done to death I had decided that one morning during our stay I would get into position far up a hill and get the classic shoot, but this morning was not it. I had been out early doors far up the glen to be later meet by Carla and the dogs and we had drifted back eventually to get a coffee at the tourist centre at the head of the glen. Walking back to the cottage I realised that the train would be passing soon so I decided to dash up to the viaduct and climb the less popular eastern hills to get a snap of it from behind. Well my timing was all to pot :-) as got to the viaduct it was already passing over. So quickly pulling the canon out I rattled off 3 snaps, and proceeded to ignore them until yesterday. Looking at them I thought they might look ok as #bnw given the nice contrast of light and the texture of the viaduct and tree. Happy with the result I also give the printer a spin and ran off a nice print.

"River, DA calling. We have a new weather report, lightning has struck. I repeat, lightning has struck!" - Nigel Wolpert

The last return to Hogwarts in Harry Potter - The Deathly Hallows - part II is without doubt the best of the all returns to the school and my favorite one. Despite this scene has the coolest “war code” message ever, warning every student that Harry has came back to the school of wizardry, it also happens in one of the most important places of all the saga - ” If you have to ask, you’ll never know. If you know, you need only to ask.”

The Room of Requirement was every time the place where Harry had the opportunity to change his game against the dark magic of “we know who”. The place where the Dumbledore’s Army was born and where most of the wizard friends of Harry train them selfs to be better with magic.

The place where all of his friends waited for him - The Chosen One…

…to regroup for the last fight!

“I repeat, lightning has struck!”… over, and out.

Some of my favourite builds of all time are from the magical and brilliant series of Harry Potter scenes begun by Marcel V . Whilst I am NOWHERE near the level of brilliance of these builders I wanted to create a build in a similar style based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, having experienced it in theatres and loved every minute. I know a lot of people didn't like the play — I personally loved it as a Potterhead since childhood but I can see why people disliked it based on the script. What are your thoughts on the play? Let me know :)

I'm absolutely loving all the new Harry Potter sets and figures. I really like the new legs a lot more than I thought I would too!

Being a mild Potterhead, of course I've already been sorted into Hufflepuff, so Speedcat has to be in there too! Unfortunately she's a bit naff at potions! I decided to make a nice new head to help portray this! :)

„The Slytherin common room was a long, low underground room with rough stone walls and ceiling, from which round, greenish lamps were hanging on chains. A fire was crackling under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of them, and several Slytherins were silhouetted around it in carved chairs.

‘Wait here,’ said Malfoy to Harry and Ron, motioning them to a pair of empty chairs set back from the fire.“

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Chapter 12

─────────────────────────────

This obviously is my own interpretation of the Slytherin common room. I researched a lot for this and I didn’t quite like the one in the movie.

Plus, you know, Marcel built this stunning representation of a Hogwarts fireplace and guess what Draco chooses to lounge in front of in the movie? A massive fireplace just like Marcel’s. So that was out of the picture.

Yesterday I happened to receive a bunch of those elk antlers – I guess you can make out what I turned them into. It happened quite naturally and I'm really happy with how those chairs turned out.

I thought adding Salazar Slytherin’s portrait would be a nice touch as well even though thats not accurate at all. If the lore-loving Potterhead doesn’t like it, well I’m sure there are plenty of other fitting wizards around ;)

A touch of silver on the walls and for the fireplace topped it off.

─────────────────────────────

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!

Thank you, Marcel, for allowing me to continue what you started. You are indeed a wizard.

i just love harry potter so much. it will forever be my favourite book and movie series. potterhead forever<3

i'm going to the wizarding world of harry potter in orlando next month. i can't wait.

none of the photos i took today turned out. however, i liked this edit very much.

No, it's not where some of you might think it is. Goodwins Court is a narrow (and fairly hidden) back alleyway leading from St. Martin's Lane to Bedfordbury in Covent Garden, London. The architecture is almost a perfectly preserved example of late 17th Century style, with ornate window displays and gas lamps that would fit well in a Charles Dicken's novel - but today usually has its share of Potterheads in search of the 'real Diagon Alley' :-)
