Personally I think Yan is understating how cool the elastic server concept is, but I think being able to spec out a VM with all the applications I need (rails/java, apache, postgres/mysql,etc), and all the gems I need, have it built and deployed to one or more machines in a matter of minutes, with an easy to use admin console, is a big deal. Plus its all written in Rails!! (well, except for the low-level stuff)
