Last Saturday we attended high power rocket launches at the Friends of Amateur Rocketry launch site in the Mojave desert of California. My son works at the Naval Postgraduate School in the rocket propulsion lab. The Navy team launched two high power rockets to test a guidance system for fins.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, a photographic, and a smooth HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Once again Aston's graduation ceremonies were held at the impressive Birmingham Town Hall, followed by food, drink and entertainment back on campus. Over 600 students graduated, in three ceremonies on 27th March.

This is the oldest bus in Unilink colours and is on its second spell on the network, having begun its life with Minerva Accord during a previous Unilink contract. After five years in the main Bluestar fleet it returned to Unilink when the U2X (a faster double-deck version of the northbound U2) was introduced in 2015. Jose R. Alcántara, also known as “Blackie”, is an 80-year old Indian Yaqui from Sonora, Mexico. He had been living in the U.S for more than 50 years. We shared the same bus one afternoon, and during our ride to southern Tucson, “Blackie” told me plenty stories. He had been in jail for 17 years after murdering two men. He had to hide for 4 years after working as a smuggler and with certain Mexican drug-cartels. He had also been married twice, and as far as I understood, he wanted to give love another chance. Blackie, was by far one of the most interesting characters for my exploratory research on Mexican illegal immigration in Arizona.
