I finally pulled my attention away from normal business activities whilst things are quiet to start self-publishing.
I've printed some retro posters before for my Scooter site Scooter-Life and it's something I've enjoyed creating.
So while assignments are quiet I've started to work with Gelato for my print-on-demand partner and Etsy as my shopfront due to their impressive marketplace.
Here is one of my first Poster Art Prints titled Taxi Cab New York City 1992
As described I captured this in New York City in 1992 during rush hour.
A poster designed using a 3D engine and Photoshop, then digitally printed and installed in cabled poster holders along with a series of other similar designs.

Fantastic, pin-sharp, 3' by 4' or 5' prints laid on the floor for display. The punters were allowed to walk on them!!!
I guess this is a measure of how blase we have become with the ultra high quality of much photography nowadays. The technology (and sheer creativity) on display was impressive.
I still couldn't bring myself to trample over work like this though.
Much of the technology, although amazing, is still out of reach of all but the filthiest of rich amateurs.
