when i was a kid, i dreamed of becoming a captain of a ship and sail the 7th seas along with SINBAD. Oh well, that was just a dream..
From my collection - dated June 13, 1911 sent to Mr. Earle Younker, Box 101 Hargerstown Maryland. It has a pretty interesting letter on this one. it say: "Hello Earle, Recieved your card. Glad to hear from you. The York girls make fine wives, you should come here and get a wife and lover. Your friend, Blanche"

In February-March-April I exhibit embroidered buttons in a museum and I am printing postcards on watercolour paper.

Holstentor the Gate, emblem of Lübeck / Lübeck is a city in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany, and one of the major ports of Germany. On the river Trave, it was the leading city of the Hanseatic League, and because of its extensive Brick Gothic architecture, it is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

I'm going to start something new, for me. I love postcards and I love history. I've done some volunteer work for SHSMO ( State Historical Society Of Missouri) working on restoring some of their archive photos. In the process I discovered what a great collection they have. On our route to Stokknes we passed a number of breathtaking views with great light. A number of unplanned stops were made to fully enjoy the views.
Originally the sky was overexposed, and the sun was shining straight into Valeria`s face. I decided to transform the background into the style of old postcards, and spent quite a long time with creating a digital make up - a good opportunity for practicing...! - Oberbaum Bridge, Berlin-Kreuzberg

OK, technically this is a slightly different Machu Picchu postcard shot, but I actually like it better.
Snapped from one of the highest terraces above the guard house, this perspective shows a bit more of the western agricultural teraces dropping off into the valley below.
