I've almost forgotten how I ended up with this ;o)
It started life as an Infrared shot of the Bow Fiddle, and went through Photoshop and NIK before being attached to a postcard!

when i was a kid, i dreamed of becoming a captain of a ship and sail the 7th seas along with SINBAD. Oh well, that was just a dream..
From my collection - dated June 13, 1911 sent to Mr. Earle Younker, Box 101 Hargerstown Maryland. It has a pretty interesting letter on this one. it say: "Hello Earle, Recieved your card. Glad to hear from you. The York girls make fine wives, you should come here and get a wife and lover. Your friend, Blanche"

In February-March-April I exhibit embroidered buttons in a museum and I am printing postcards on watercolour paper.
Postcard sent by Stefan from Germany on December 17th 2020. Travelled 13 days and 4,737 miles and arriving in Arkansas on December 30th 2020.

I'm going to start something new, for me. I love postcards and I love history. I've done some volunteer work for SHSMO ( State Historical Society Of Missouri) working on restoring some of their archive photos. In the process I discovered what a great collection they have. Postcard of Oaks Manor Motor Hotel 7015 S. Central Expwy. at Overton Road. The building that I think was a Gulf station is still there. The rest is gone.

A postcard sketchbook has been sitting on my bookshelf for many years. I shall try to make 1 Postcard a day until it is empty.
Each postcard is 147 mm x 104 mm so a limited size and time perhaps.
I have always liked the idea of a "I wish you where here" PCs that showed where you where when you thought it. i.e.: in the office looking out the window etc.
