“Reclamation” explores the claustrophobic rituals of isolation and the silent aftermath of grief. Set within the decayed walls of a forgotten space, the figure sits encased in a worn tub like a relic of their own suffering—motionless, faceless, resigned. The streaked, dripping walls echo years of containment and trauma, while the crimson trail leaking from the tub becomes both a wound and a path, blurring violence with quiet surrender. This piece asks viewers to confront the ways in which physical spaces absorb emotional weight, and how confinement can distort time, memory, and the self. As with much of my work, I invite the viewer to linger not on answers, but on the atmosphere of unresolved intensity. This is not a scene of death, but of transformation, suspended in decay.

“Control Loop”

This work explores the fracture between observation and autonomy. Rendered through overlays of avatars and avatars of avatars, the image reconstructs digital trauma as a visual artifact. It questions what remains of the self when agency is extracted and memory is mediated by code. Violence here is not spectacle — it is embedded in repetition, resolution loss, and gaze.

This is not ascent. It is aftermath.

“All the Daughters Left Behind” was born from the idea that houses remember. And sometimes, they rot from the insidenot from mold, but from memory. The staircase is not a path upward, but a procession site. Each red mass on the steps is a silence, a story, a woman who was told to be quiet until she disappeared into wallpaper.

The figure walks not toward freedom but toward witness. She is not mourning them. She is them.

The light isn’t holy. It’s exposure. And in that light, the truth becomes impossible to ignore.

What do we inherit when memory rots in silence?

“Inheritance of the Forgotten” examines the burden of carrying what previous generations chose not to speak aloud. The red bundles below are not literal bodies—but emotional weight. Memories wrapped in shame, stitched shut, and left to decay.

The lone figure does not descend into ruin; she emerges from it. She walks with the cloth of silence trailing behind her, asking—what parts of our past are worth preserving, and what must finally be left to rot?

In this work, light is not redemption. It’s exposure. It is what happens when the secrets can no longer hide.

“In the Room Where No One Listens”

The body bleeds, but the room remains calm. Under fluorescent interrogation, what’s left of the subject is absence and evidence—a staged denial of accountability. This work is a meditation on spectacle, suppression, and how institutions convert suffering into silence. What happens in well-lit places rarely stays hidden.

“Mouthful of Silence” explores the burden of memory and the surreal scale of emotional residue. The boat-bound figure is not a traveler but a witness adrift in a liquid world of distorted recollection. The oversized, disfigured head represents the psychic architecture of remembrance: beautiful, ruined, and mute. The glistening textures echo both preservation and decay.

This piece continues my #10000HourProject, an effort to map the grotesque intimacy between the self and the synthetic world. It reflects on emotional enormity rendered mute, showing how grief or shame can loom as large and as shapeless as this fallen mask. It’s not the fall we mourn but the scale of what we once had to carry.

In Mouthful of Silence, #RhondaMelo working as #Melora unleashes another haunting still from her ongoing #10000HourProject. The piece juxtaposes monumentality and isolation, creating a dreamlike space where memory, ruin, and observation coexist in uncomfortable harmony.
