Postoffice Bridge (Pochtamtskiy most) is a pedestrian bridge across Moika River in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is located near the central Postoffice building, from which it takes the name.
The bridge was built in 1823-1824 to designs by architects Wilhelm von Traitteur and Christianovich as a pedestrian bridge suspended by chains. There are only three such bridges left in Saint Petersburg today, the other two being Lions Bridge and Bank Bridge. With the time the construction became unstable, and it was reengineered in 1936 by setting the additional support underneath it, so the chains became merely a decoration. In 1981-1983 the bridge was reconstructed yet again, and restored as a suspended bridge.
Wikipedia: The people of Dijon call this building "the great Post Office" and it was designed by a very fashionable architect called Louis Perreau. From its inauguration in 1909 until the 2010s, this building served solely as a post office. Even though parts of the building are listed as historic monuments (listed buildings) it has been redeveloped. Part of the building is still a Post Office but other parts are used by various businesses including an hotel.
Post Office serves both Delmar Delaware and Delmar Maryland but is located in Delmar Delaware. Post Office built in 1959
A wonderful old building whose future is in doubt. I guess we needed a bigger postal facility, but the new building is so ugly, and this one is so nice. I hope it is put to good use!.

The big building is the old, main postoffice in the city.
On my first job for a government entity, I used to pay may bills here.
Manually, so to speak, over the counter.
The steakhouse on the corner was then called "Markurell's" and had a bar in the cellar where we used to spend what was left after having paid the bills.
We didn't really care about tomorrow.
Good times it was.
As I walked by it today, I counted to just six guests. They're still open, which surprised me.
Bad times it is.
... To me, it's where I received a traffic citation, later that night. Nearly a half a century of perfect driving record - Shot to Hell.
on that day, I was able to obtain photography time at Tokyo Station for approximately ten minutes. I borrowed this camera for an event of January, but this is the first time that I took scenery. my Christmas holidays seem to become happy.

この日、10分ほどの撮影時間がとれたので、ちょっと東京駅を降りてみました。 このカメラは1月のイベントの為に借りたんですが、風景を撮ったのはこれが初めてです。 なんだかお正月がぐっと楽しくなりそうです。
