Artist Statement:

The Last City Dreams in Reverse is an elegy in architecture, light, and isolation. Set in a collapsing simulation or the moment after humanity’s exit, the piece captures the stillness between collapse and rebirth. A lone figure stands at a silent intersection, not to cross but to remember.

The moon or what we once called the moon dominates the sky like a corrupted memory file, bleeding unreality across the skyline. Buildings lean toward it like ancient worshipers, forgetting they were once steel and not ash.

This piece reflects on how cities remember us when we’re gone, and what remains when time stops obeying physics and starts obeying grief.

📝 Artist Statement:

In The Greenhouse of Forgotten Formulas, I explore the moment after humanity relinquishes control when the systems of invention and discovery are abandoned, and nature begins to retake the ruins of ambition.

This piece asks:

What becomes of knowledge when it is left to rot?

What does nature do with the glass, steel, and glass-stoppered dreams we leave behind?

The space is both laboratory and reliquary a place where time did not stop, but moved on without us. The moss, vines, and broken objects become visual metaphors for entropy as a creative force. The warm glow of the windows, like stained glass, hints at reverence. This is a cathedral of lost invention.

I invite the viewer not to mourn, but to imagine the narratives suspended here to see beauty in reclamation, and to feel a strange peace in abandonment.

“Legacy Object No. 3: Corridor of Abandonment”

A modern intrusion fractures the sacred geometry of a once-grand corridor. Two linear objects—neither torch nor weapon—divide the frame, like punctuation in a dying sentence. Light is both the aggressor and the archivist, flooding decay with memory. The figure, cast in partial shadow, becomes witness, not savior.
