Another post from my trip to Monument Valley.
The Navajo name for the valley is Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii which means Valley of the Rocks.
Numerous TV shows and Hollywood movies have been shot here in the valley.
Demonsrun is Wells Fargo number 2 unit. Comprising an eight wheel drive twin steering tractor and up to four trailers that can comprise either passenger cars, freight cars or tank trailers, she is powered by twin 19 litre Cummins QSK19 diesels driving the four back axles.
Armaments include a turret mounted guided rocket launcher, cab mounted heat seeking missiles and machine guns, and saw blades on the tractor, as well as a tractor mounted cupola and several gun emplacements on the leading trailer as well as a heavy pilot out front.
Part of the convoy is the assistance unit, a heavy three axle tractor built for torgue.
The assistance unit has a V8 Dodge gasoline engine and a Scania D11 diesel. Fitted with similar armaments to the main tractor, the assistance unit can be coupled to the front or the rear as needed, to assist with mechanical issues or steep gradients .

Actually it's a rather nice spot just outside Whippingham but somehow this morning, taking this picture through the windscreen as I drove into work, it all had the look of the morning after the bomb. Or maybe that's just what the approaching office does to my head.

Here are the girls on the way home from our beach vacation. What else would you expect? That was one of the easiest car rides ever. (See the bikes on the back?)
