Colour postcard of "Main Street and Post Office, Deseronto, Ont.", published by Valentine & Co. The card was mailed on 7 January 1908 to Mrs J. G. Dawe, 452 Erie Street, Stratford, Ontario, by one of her children, who had started work in one of Deseronto's schools.
The post office was designed by Thomas Fuller (1823-1898), Chief Architect of the Dominion of Canada. It bears the date 1901 on the south façade.

UNITED STATE POST OFFICE, 201 E. THIRD STREET. Built in 1931, this large brick post office is a Neo-Classical building with eight large Ionic columns across the recessed entryway, a raised basement level and long, narrow windows. The building has a hipped roof which is clearly visible, though surrounded by a raised parapet. The almost-original interior of the building includes a high-ceilinged lobby and service area with dentil moldings and original interior doors. This building has served as Sweetwater’s official post office since it replaced the original wood frame structure which served the purpose from the 1880s well into the 20th century. It was the original post office which was known as “Sweet Water,” until in 1918 the U.S. Postal Service mandated that it conform to local usage of “Sweetwater.” National Register of Historic Places (1984 – District).
The U.S. Military Academy Class of 2021 chose their first Army assignment during Post Night, Feb. 3, 2021. During Post Night, cadets select their U.S. Army posts they will report to upon commissioning and graduating from basic officer leaders’ course. El poste es un elemento que desapercibido se considera omnipresente, minimalista y funcional, vértice de un cableado eléctrico que produce el alumbrado público de Bogotá, acobija una ciudad por medio de una telaraña que se teje de energía a partir de cada poste sobrepuesto.
El poste rolo es un objeto social que inunda la ciudad y se involucra en una identidad, son contadores de historias y símbolos de diversos significados culturales, intervenidos por las personas, dañados, asaltados, reparados, adornados, desiguales, libres de su funcionalidad, dosificados con otro don, clásicos y modernizados, conservadores de un sentido histórico, interactúan con el bogotano, miran una ciudad en picado, inertes y perezosos, de colores, olvidados, abrazan el mundo en una telaraña, sobrevivientes al agua, al sol, fuertes ante las oleadas de viento, ladrones de cometas, estorbos de un espacio fluido, de madera, concreto o metal, causantes de incendios y protagonistas mediadores del servicio de luz público, enredados, chuecos, altos, pesados, peligrosos, delgados, de muchas cabezas, varios brazos, miradores de pájaros, casas de mas pájaros, nidos, papás de plantas que nacen, tendedores de ropa, culpables, analíticos, desordenados, espías, suculentos en la investigación de Bogotá.
Las imágenes fueron hechas en barrios de las localidades Ciudad Bolívar, Tunjuelito, Chapinero y Santa fé.
