SIX WEEKS AGO, TARRA WAS FOUND UNCONCIOUS AND BARELY ALIVE, SHE WAS IN A COMA FOR OVER A WEEK, SHE HAS PROVEN THE POWER OF PRAYER. DETERMINATION, POSITIVE THINKING, AND THE STRONG WILL TO SURVIVE AND SHE WILL BE COMING HOME TO BE WITH HER FAMILY ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

We’ve had weeks of storms, wind and rain and today I realised that in all talking of the bad weather we seem to have overlooked moments like these. ... the last month or so has taken a strain - mentally, emotionally, physically and creatively. It became very clear to me today that I really needed to remind myself that the positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible. I won't easily back down from a fight, I am stubborn ... my positive resilience in the past has served me well, and it will do so again for today and for my future.

The power of prayer and positive thinking has made itself abundantly clear to me in this past several months. Some of you may recall my friend Heidi who recently underwent surgery to remove part of one breast after a lump was discovered to be cancerous. I asked my flickr friends for prayers for Heidi and was overwhelmed by the response. Heidi's doctor was impressed by how quickly she healed. Heidi wasn't surprised a bit. After reading all the words of encouragement and thoughts of prayer she knew exactly where the strength of her recovery came from.
Heidi will once again be going into surgery this week. Since her first surgery the doctor found "suspcious cells" and they will be performing a bilateral mastectomy. Heidi is a woman of inspirational spirit and has dedicated herself to helping get the word out to other women about early detection.
Any thoughts or prayers you can send in Heidi's direction will be well received. When Heidi is feeling up to it she wil be reading through the comments. I know she will gain much strength in healing from the power of your sunshine.

I'm not much of a shopper, but I have to admit I do LOVE certain props in some places such as a Banana Republic which just moved into an outdoor conglomeration of trendy stores! A friend used to work there about 40 years ago, so I had to go in and find something to shoot!
