If you've been out for a walk, you might have noticed some colourful rainbow drawings in the windows of a number of houses.
The idea quickly spread on social media after a post suggested it might help brighten some people's day. Rainbows of any size, design, or artistic ability are encouraged to be displayed. My 4 year old grandson painted this for me.

I appreciate a lot the power of positive thinking.
I have seen people who had things undesirable happened to them (e.g. storms or fires destroyed their homes or air passengers grounded due to whatever problems in airport etc) and they are still calm and patiently wait on the resolving of issues. Or they are grateful on the safety of families even though disaster has come.
We have wind storms these few days in Vancouver area. Some areas have gone out of power due to this. Wish the positive thinking is going to help us in riding the wind.

Submission for the Creative Tribe Challenge on the theme "Think Positive"
I don't do macro stuff very often, and I've discovered why... it's really footery (is that a Scottish word?!) Anyway, the thoughts behind this were about a small creature facing an uphill struggle. Not sure I've conveyed that here, so maybe its about me, and positive thinking when I find these little pests have eaten half my garden overnight!

Our Daily Challenge ... positive thinking.
My brother gave me a small cactus plant for Christmas 8 years ago. It produces the most amazing flowers which are almost as big as the plant itself. This year it has several of buds so I look forward to seeing more like this ... I'm thinking positive!

Words are sometimes not enough to describe one's thoughts and emotions. That's why I am thankful that I can turn to photography as my outlet.
Today, amidst a sea of emotions, instead of trying to make sense of each one, I've decided to focus my energies on trying to stay positive.
PHOTO NOTES: Special thanks to my sister Dorothy for creating this plus-shaped bokeh filter for me. Taped the filter to my lens then shot this from my "bokeh balcony". Exposure set to 1.6 seconds, camera panned from left to right.
Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.
