At the intersection of SE St. Lucie Boulevard and Bent Banyan Way, you'll find a vast canopy of Banyan trees that shade the entire road.

A hot, humid tropical morning just before sunrise. At 6 am this morning, the temperature was already 80 degrees and the humidity level at least that. You can see a rain storm forming on the horizon, and there were flashes of lighting every few seconds. I literally had to wipe the condensation off my lens after every shot ... but ... the sky. Made it all worth it.
Location: Sandsprit Park & Marina, Stuart FL.
Technical Stuff: This is a 4-image pano, stitched in LR5. All thirty second exposures shot at f/4.5, ISO200.

I am mesmerized by this urban forest of Banyan trees along SE St. Lucie Blvd in Port Salerno. At the right time of day these trees let in just enough light to give the canopy backlit sunlight.

Sunrise this morning at the intersection of Manatee Pocket and the St. Lucie River. A high traffic boat area that leads to St. Lucie Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean, I counted more than 200 fishing boats heading out to sea this morning.
