Oh it's been a while since my last black and white photo. Experimenting with clothes on that one was pretty fun. I'm not a fashion photographer, but some of the shots from this series reminds me of iconic magazine shots.

I'd like people to look at this shot years down the road and say "That's one iconic shot".

I really like moments like we had looking at this photo right after the shooting. We both were looking at the photos, saw this one and "whooaaaaaaa".

The project is to ask people on the street to pose for a single portrait. Only one chance to make a great one. No second chance. All the portraits are done with my Hasselblad 501CM with the 80mm on Ilford HP5 Plus, developed by myself with Rodinal (1:25)

"Black and white creates a strange dreamscape that color never can."

Do I need to tell you how much I like this shot?

She is just gorgeous.

I think you've seen enough of me, it's now time to see other people. I've been asked multiple times "Why don't you do portraits?" I actually do. I don't share them quite often as I like to propose something different, and during the past years, photographers around me seemed to mostly shoot portraits, so I kind of lost interest.

Thanks to fortunate encounters, I met wonderful people that allowed me to photograph them. Mostly strangers in the street, and more recently models.

I'm starting today with one of my best spontaneous encounters, someone that shared their past with me, something I really appreciated and I am selfishly keeping for myself.

Obviously today is about the other dancer of the duo I was referring to in my last post, Vitória. I wanted to break my feed of similar portraits, that is now done!

A striking portrait of a young hunter against ancient rock engravings in Namibia. The interplay of tradition and history highlights the deep connection between people and their land. The strong profile, detailed textures, and golden light capture a moment that transcends time.

This beautiful shot wasn't planned.

I love to walk, chat and connect with my models as much as listening to their ideas. I've always been listening and always got good results out of it, including this shot.

Después de un mes y medio desconectada gracias a que tuve un accidente de coche, empiezo poco a poco a hacer cosas. Ésta fue el primer atardecer que he visto después del accidente, realmente lo necesitaba.
