I took some extra time with post processing this photo because it is special to me. Jessica, the gorgeous model, made things easy "on the front end". She's lovely and very photogenic. I wanted to give the portrait a little something extra (with my limited PP skills). I hope this portrait receives a warm response from Flickr members... and, of course, from Jessica.
Behind the scenes - Jessica adjusts her dress as Ken sets the light for the next shot. Tim looks on and awaits his turn.
A wonderous modeling session with first time model and beauty Audra. This was also my first time working with make up artist Tricia Utley. I'm really looking forward to working with both these lovely ladies again soon!
This was Audra's first time in a more professional setting. She did awesome!

Photographed the sweetest baby last week. Sweet Sam. Fresh from heaven. I had forgotten that my own babies were once this small.

I chose this portrait of Jessica Donovan, a lovely model in the Charleston, SC area as my 5,000th photo to upload for a couple of reasons. First, I started seriously shooting photos during my high school years -- and I primarily shot in B&W. Second, Jessica is a lovely young lady and very worthy of any milestone photograph from a photographer. Third, this photo, the design of the shot and the model's expression were all suggested by me. That's not bragging... it's just my photo... and I am blessed that it turned out well. And I'm proud to upload it as my 5,000th photograph on Flickr.com.
Come on out March 30th for a great educational and portfolio building experience.

While Elana was doing Mikal's makeup, I tried to get a couple candid shots. Finally, Mikal looked at me and stuck her tongue out. Click! Haha!
