Jede größere Reise, die ich unternehme, erlebe ich mindestens drei Mal: Einmal in Realität, einmal, wenn ich meine Farbfilme entwickle, einscanne und bearbeite, und ein drittes Mal wenn ich dasselbe mit meinen Schwarzweiß-Filmen tue. Und dann gibt es meistens noch ein viertes Mal, wenn ich viele Jahre später mir meine Reisetagebücher noch einmal zu Gemüte führe.
Every major journey i make i experience at least three times: The first time in reality, a second time when i develop, scan and process my color negatives and a third time when i do the same with my black and white films. Often there is a fourth time as well when i dive into my travel diaries many years later.
